Damn! Nice parts putting my PC to shame.
i'm not that agree with you about DyAc, for me, it's overrated, like all strobing tbh, i don't really like strobing
Fair enough. It is ...

@Sirius
Thanks for your reply. Sorry that it took so long to provide an update.
I ended up trying the BenQ XL2546K at the same time. My expectations for it were extremely low yet it absolutely blew the ViewSonic XG2431 out of the water. It was more responsive, DyAc was actually worth using, there ...

Re: Another monitor thread for 240hz
BenQ XL2546X is what you want. Nothing beats fast TN+DyAc right now. This is coming from someone who believed otherwise until I experienced it myself.
ViewSonic XG2431 cannot even compare and is massively overrated even if it weren't for the quality control issues.

Re: Best monitor 360HZ for CS2
BenQ XL2566K. I never thought I would say it until experiencing it myself, there is just no competition for fast TN with DyAc. The performance and clarity with TN+DyAc versus anything else is like night and day. Keep in mind that only the XL2546X (240Hz) and XL2586X (540Hz) support the newer DyAc2 ...

anyway the XG2431 is still for me the best 1080p IPS 240hz
If you had to choose between the ViewSonic XG2431 and BenQ XL2546K, which would you pick for competitive use?

Re: Is the ViewSonic XG2431 without strobing still king for minimum input lag, response time, ghosting and motion blur?
look at any benchmark on the internet only a handful of Esport titles can maintain 240 FPS if you have a really good PC
An RTX 3060 isn't maintaining 240 FPS even in E-Sport titles stop fooling yourself
You need a very good PC to run most Esport titles at 240 FPS constant.
An RTX 4090 CANNOT ...

Re: Is the ViewSonic XG2431 without strobing still king for minimum input lag, response time, ghosting and motion blur?
Without strobing, there are plenty of monitors that is better for motion clarity, most of them are TN BenQ but also the PG27AQN and...OLED.
Thanks so much for your reply. What would you recommend for a 24-25", 1080p, 240Hz, IPS or TN? I can't help but feel that a TN monitor is not worth it in ...

Re: ViewSonic OMNI XG2431 24
Hope mine will hold up. The first ViewSonic XG2431 I received had a visual defect out of the box but the second one appears to be visually flawless. Honestly would have gone with another monitor but there don't appear to be any that aren't massive downgrades in one way or another even at double the ...

Re: Is the ViewSonic XG2431 without strobing still king for minimum input lag, response time, ghosting and motion blur?
^ yes absolutely the XG2431 beats the Zowie dyac monitors it also beats their new DYAC 2 monitors cause DYAC 2 has a lot of cross talk at 120 HZ and is unplayable in 60HZ setting

Re: Is the ViewSonic XG2431 without strobing still king for minimum, input lag, response times, ghosting and motion blur
Yes it still is, until Blur Buster 2.2 OLED comes out that is.
I wouldn't trust anything else for motion blur, everything else seems to have a deal breaking con
