it displays "out of range".
You need to download two separate pieces of software. One goes to the monitor and another to your PC.
Read this.

I'll add a mega link as well. This includes firmwares for other Benq monitors: XL2720Z, XL2411Z, XL2420Z, XL2430T.

it doesn't feel smooth as it should
Yeah, I encountered this too! Anything beyond 144 and 180 gives awful experience. This is sort of a bug, I don't know. Picture just stutters a lot and screen flickers like it's 30 hz.

Yes, the fw version has to be below V6. Do rollback.

You save my life
Don't think there's any benefits in having the fw updated, but I'm glad being of help.
Do you mind sharing the V6 version or you didn't save it?

i need original stock latest firmware
The filename is XL2411P-FW13.bin. I never modified this one. In fact, the .bin files I uploaded on GH are all stock.
Look at the "Monitor On Time", I couldn't have faked that.

There's no need in a guide as CRU usage posted on its home page at monitortests.

i want to know which firmware do you use and the exact steps

V2 or V3 fw is required.
Update is only possible via DVI monitor port. You can buy a cheap HDMI/DP to DVI adapter from amazon if your graphics doesnt support DVI. Then you'll need to use linux enviroment (live usb would go) to run ...

Re: looking for xl2411p overclockable firmware

I'd like to mention that I will share my findings somewhere on the forum for community's sake. As promised, there are 4 different firmwares including overclockable one (V3) .

At the time I have not yet found the V3 FW, I tried to make OCing work by DDC commands. Sadly, I could not fully reproduce ...
