Re: The 480Hz Tour De Force, Chef's Masterpiece: 480HZ OLED PURSUIT CAMERA

On topic:

Can't wait for reviewers to experience 480HZ OLED.
I just hope they will test it fairly and feed the monitor with a stable 480fps to get the full effect.
Hopefully dispelling the "the eyes can't see more than x fps" myths.

There are millions of people out here claiming they ...

Re: The 480Hz Tour De Force, Chef's Masterpiece: 480HZ OLED PURSUIT CAMERA

if I were to get one of those 1440p 480hz new screens, I would certainly rather run it at 1080p if possible.
There are 31.5" 4K 240Hz OLEDs with a 480Hz 1080p mode coming. Those look much better at 1080p, but the screen might be slightly too big, unless you want to move it slightly further away ...

Re: DLDSR reduces input lag (Confirmed by Frameview + video)

Ignore my last message, it still shows a significant difference even after this command.

Now I tested in Valorant and I got 3~4ms of system latency using DLDSR against 8~9ms of 1080p.
The mouse does feel better.

Re: New dual-mode 4K OLED monitors - where/when?

Maybe for people like us, we start considering a dedicated gaming monitor.

I busted out my old FW900
CRT recently and sat it next to my G9 off the side lol

Been just scooting my keyboard over when it’s time to game.

Sure made my 27”
1440 (5120x1440 at times) seem like 8k as a side note.

Re: Blur Buster's 1000hz journey ending at 650hz OLEDs?

persistence still gets reduced the higher the hz, regardless of framerate, doesn't it? only strobing needs framerate to = hz, to avoid double images. 1000hz would not have this issue presumably so 60hz games would still have great motion clarity on 1000hz monitors, is what i believe the case ...
