New motion blur reduction ReShade shader - CRT Dusha
Hi everyone. I was looking for a good motion blur reduction ReShade shader, but couldn't find any good ones, so I have decided to make my own. It is simple to use, should work on different hardware and in different games, including old dx9 titles. Some basic presets are included, as well as many ...

Re: Windows 10 DWM Priority
Oh Lord, that's a lot of text. A lot of claims, appeals to ignorance and appeal to authority. Sorry, you can think whatever you want, as well as to leave as much room for yourself to be wrong as possible. My claim is not a claim, but rather some personal observations that have led me to some ...

You cannot have a change in "clarity"
Perceived clarity/responsiveness. Please, read the posts more thoroughly.

Re: Windows 10 DWM Priority
This is not a placebo, I do observe an effect. The difference is not huge by any means. In my opinion, it would pretty much resemble a difference between, let's say, 100Hz vs 140Hz, or capped G-Sync with v-sync ON vs uncapped frames. The question is, however, is something wrong with my system and do ...

Re: Windows 10 DWM Priority
Sorry I can't tell for Windows 7, only tested it with Win 10. Maybe, in Windows 7 you already getting the best possible results/clarity. Also, haven't tried Lasso, but would imagine it would work in exactly the same way as Processor Hacker, as long as we set DWM's priority and I/O priority to idle ...

Re: Windows 10 DWM Priority
Yes, it was, and still is. Although, in Win 7 you could disable it. Unfortunately, In Windows 10, they have removed such possibility. Can't tell anything about your experience, but I do see the benefits of disabling with my own eyes. I just need more information/tests on it.
Edit. While no doubt ...

Windows 10 DWM Priority
Searched through forums, couldn't find anything specific about that.

Edit 01/2020:
For Acer XB241H, the old Lightboost method is obsolete. Use +1 VT method instead.

Acer XB241H confirmed
Hello dear Blurbusters! Long time reader, first time poster here. A week ago I have finally swapped my good old 226bw derelict, for a g-sync animal - XB241H - Predator (budget, but a very very decent TN). After a few days of enjoying my new 144 Hz/180 Hz, G-sync and ULMB, I ...
