Ultra Fast IPS panels can do average 2.2ms GtG with most ranges within 2ms, shouldn't that be enough for 500Hz?
With those newer backlight which has LED strip on both sides, I assume there would be barely any crosstalk?

Re: Strobed Motion Blur Reduction Is Same As PWM (but good kind of PWM)

The display backlight flickers at 120 Hz (worst case, e.g., utilizing PWM) Flickering detected at a brightness setting of 100 % and below. There should be no flickering or PWM above this brightness setting.

The frequency of 120 Hz is very low, so the flickering may cause eyestrain and headaches ...

Re: Strobed Motion Blur Reduction Is Same As PWM (but good kind of PWM)

So what would the MPRT of an 120hz OLED device with a 120hz pwm frequency played at 120fps, 8ms or 4ms?

I initially wanted to get a zotac zone with a 120hz pwm (testiest by notebookcheck). They didn’t go into detail but I’m pretty sure it’s off for the same period it’s on.
an lg c1 at 120hz ...

My monitor doesn't' have DYAC and its 240 Hertz monitor.
What should i use?

The XL2540, which you've quoted, supports a backlight strobing solution as per: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/benq/zowie-xl2540

I'd run fps_max 0, Reflex enabled & fixed refresh rate.
The 240Hz target is too ...

Re: I need a 24"-27" monitor with decent 120hz strobing and no red KSF phosphor !

How do you know that AOC monitor uses KSF phosphor (I could not find what manufacturer panel model it uses exactly) ?
Is it the very wide gamut and advertised DCI-P3 coverage (95%) that strongly hints at KSF phosphor ?

It's usually surmounted to one of the following approaches:
1) Find a ...

My UDIMMs have on-die ECC. What is the difference between that and an AM5 BIOS setting of "ECC"? Is it preferable to disable it in BIOS and let the on-die ECC do the error correcting instead?

This is a common misconception due to incorrect marketing from DRAM vendors. What I was referring to is ...

I think kuobe is an AI.
kuobe, that is kernel latency.
and it shows 100% correct.

1.) Ad hominem doesn't make your arguement sound, it makes you look foolish.
2.) No, that tool does not measure "kernel latency", nor is there any tool which showcases that properly (LatencyMon isn't one of them ...

I have to disagree, it is noticable. The number may be small in theory, but if you are actually playing aim trainers and can archieve top scores, you can notice the difference immidiatly. And it is such an easy improvement by just plugging the mouse into the correct USB port instead of chasing ...

Re: USB LATENCY ANALYZER V2

Someone created a powershell script that tests and checks if you are using the lowest latency USB controller of your PC. On my MOBO which is ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-F it has two USB 3.2 Type A Gen 2 ports. So I plugged my Wooting 80HE and my mouse on those two USB ports, upon checking it with the ...
