With Reflex 2, we’ve introduced a different approach to reducing latency. Four years ago, NVIDIA’s esports research team published a study illustrating how players could complete aiming tasks faster ...

Re: Another PG27AQDP scaling question
Glad you got it working.
Just a heads up, the 24.5" mode adds about 3ms of latency. You can workaround this by creating a custom resolution of 2368x1332, force scaling on the GPU in NVCP, and then tick the "no scaling" option. This recreates the 24.5" window box without the lag penalty by forcing ...

Re: New Zowie Monitor 540Hz XL2586X
Do you play any fps games competitively like PUBG?
I play a lot of ranked FPS games and tournaments/pugs in Quake Live, but Apex Legends is probably the only ranked BR I still play.
What are your reason for liking the PG27AQDP over the PG248QP besides the obvious one (image quality)?
The ...

Re: New Zowie Monitor 540Hz XL2586X
That's exactly what I'm doing. I have a PG248QP and PG27AQDP. Can't see myself using the 1080p TN ever again.Grasshopper85 wrote: ↑22 Dec 2024, 00:37Maybe, i should just hold onto it because 5090 should be around the corner. And i would imagine that could get me just as high fps and snappiness at 1440p that I can get now at 1080p.

Re: New Zowie Monitor 540Hz XL2586X
I got the Asus pg27aqdp and have been trying to play PUBG with 1728x1080 for maximum fps, but I did not realise how blurry 1080p on a 1440p monitor is!
You can create a custom resolution for 2304x1440p which is the same aspect ratio as 1728x1080 but it's much sharper since it's 1440p vertical ...

Re: New Zowie Monitor 540Hz XL2586X
I can't create custom resolution and the alt tab is a very long black screen. Don't you really know what it could be?
Mode change blackout.
Make sure your Windows desktop settings has the same resolution setting, VRR setting, HDR setting, and timings as your game. So if you use 2560x1440 + HDR ...

You can but it will increase input latency by a lot. https://youtu.be/69k7ZXLK1to?t=451

Re: DSC causing input lag/heavy mouse feeling?
I have a PG248QP and I didn't experience input lag issues like this at 540Hz. Maybe you need to RMA the monitor if everything else in your setup is 100% not the problem. I.e., DP cable, Nvidia drivers, etc.

Re: Problems with the Asus PG248QP 540HZ
I had other issues with mine and Asus support offered to buy back my monitor when they didn't have a replacement for me. I took the money and bought another one. It went pretty smoothly and support followed up several times. Maybe I got lucky?
