Re: Can anyone help to send a suggestion to Rtings?

Agreed, learned a long time ago to turn down monitor brightness to minimum without ruining colors and closely matches the lighting brightness in the room. More then that causes eye fatigue and headaches, becomes a lot more apparent when doing long gaming sessions. I do think some people that use blu...

Re: Is Acer Nitro XF252Q best TN 240 hz monitor so far?

I think it has issues with G-Sync compatibility mode, if you can get around all the manufacturing defects and get a good panel it is fantastic. I've had my fair share of issues with it. There is a G-Sync model at $500, but I'm not sure I'm willing to put down that extra money when Asus has a 360hz m...

Re: Zen 2 (3000 series) and C-state framespikes

I turned it off, I run MSI AB and in heavily single threaded games like mobas (I play HotS) it actually made 1% and .1% frametime worse even though it was boosting properly and had the best synthetic scores. It added some sort of weird microstuttering or shutter effect to the FPS which didn't show u...

Re: Is Freesync on Nvidia broken?

Negatory. Lack of G-Sync certification can be because it was never tested or is in the process of currently being validated, not that it failed validation. It's not about it not matching, rather it's about it showing much higher and weirdly rounded numbers, 120~ in the above, 240 in HotS. While runn...

Is Freesync on Nvidia broken?

So a few months ago I was attempting to troubleshoot a really weird problem and went through a couple XF252Qs due to various reasons. This one still persists and I don't own a AMD video card so I can't test to see if this is happening on theirs as well or if this is just particularly this monitor. O...

Re: Response Time difference between units of same model

Although you're talking about unit per unit variance, along the same line of thought, I personally wonder if something happened with the XF252Q. They sent out models either to reviewers or suspect reviews will be done in the first month or two so they produce the 'premium' or just models that match ...

Re: Why are there no 240hz+ OLED monitors yet?

Burn in. No one wants to take the risk in a new segment that has a potential for a lot of headaches (regardless of how much money could be made). Just goes to show you the state big companies are in. Small incremental improvements with almost no risk > anything with risk associated with it. Only com...

Re: Black lines on OMEN 25x f

I got a XF252Q with exactly those same bars. This is probably a AUO panel problem. Not all of the ones I used had it though.

Re: Second XF252Q (On Fourth). QA issues.

Nope, just brightness and on a white background. I was doing it over night while I slept.

And if you get one that doesn't have QA issues it's fantastic... Just seems... A lot of them have QA issues.
