BenQ Zowie XL2546 @ 1080p/60hz = insane input lag

As the title states: BenQ Zowie XL2546 @ 1080p/60hz = insane input lag

When i use my monitor on PC @ 240hz this monitor feels amazing, no issues whatsoever. But when i hook it up to a console (with either controller or KBM (for example in Modern Warfare PS4)) it feels like the input lag skyrockets.

Back on PC in Nvidia control panel when i change my resolution to 1080p 60hz it just feels like i'm dragging my cursor through the mud trying to click icons on my desktop.

I also tested capping my framerate in a game to 60FPS @ 240hz and that does not feel as bad as putting the display on 60hz.

Now the thing is i don't have a native 60hz monitor to compare with, so does anyone know if putting a 240hz monitor on 60hz causes (way way way) more input lag than a 60hz monitor does natively? Or am i just too used to 240hz by now that going back to 60hz just feels very unnatural?

I just saw this review (VG279QM) the other day with same issue. Try contacting him, he's really technical about monitors.

Sorry for the late reply, but thanks for the link. Unfortunately though, i have done some testing and i have come to the conclusion that setting my XL2546 @ 60hz does not cause any "extreme" input lag as i thought.. i tested this by checking the left mouse button in paint instead of dragging my mouse around. i guess i'm just used to 240hz...

On PS4 i'm just gonna assume it's the built-in VSYNC that you can't turn off is what causes the massive input lag there

The difference between 60 and 240Hz on PC shouldn't be that huge as you described. It definitely is noticeable but not a big deal.
If you feel like it in fact is big, than there is a problem. Maybe a mouse? Idk.

Latencies on consoles are always way bigger.
