I've heard rumors about release on third week of September. EDIT: end of September
Also the XV242F got released a few days ago in China, it uses the same panel.
Sweet. Good to know.

Not to go too far off topic but it seems like there is a big gaping hole in the display industry no one is talking about.
If they're able to produce a 4K 240hz oled, they can absolutely produce a 1080p 360hz oled.
And for cheaper than the first gen 1440p 240hz oleds.
And this 1080p version would have better HDR, brightness, text clarity, and 10-bit color, all without exceeding DP1.4 bandwidth.
Kinda surprised no one has announced something like this, but then again, doing so would make just about every other 1080p display irrelevent.

I am very curious if the ULMB2 will darken the TN panel unlike how DYAC does NOT darken the screen on Zowies latest panels. I returned the PG27AQN cause the screen gets darker with ULMB2 activated.

"When activated, ULMB 2 will deliver 2,160Hz Hz of effective motion clarity, for the definitive competitive gaming experience."

Wow, so I think it's great that we're getting a 540hz monitor with ULMB2 and I would love to see it in action... but they really have to stop with that misleading advertising.

Been waiting 9 months for this. Be aware there is a competing model, the Acer Nitro XV242F, which wont have Gsync, but still has the same panel.

The 500hz Alienware monitor was a joke.

Please upvote on Rtings to get a review for it: https://www.rtings.com/review-pipeline/monitor

Same for the XV242F when that shows up.

DyAc Premium vs ULMB 2 at 100 should be similar according to reviews. I'd assume brightness will probably be same or very similar to PG27AQN.
When activated, ULMB 2 will deliver 2160Hz Hz of effective motion clarity.
This reveals its a 25% duty cycle maximum, just like on PG. If nvidia allowed just slightly longer duty cycles/pulse width brightness would be even less of an issue. To reach zowie's ~330 nits of DyAc High u only need about 30% pulse width.

I had the PG27AQN for 10 days. Played extensively on it. Returned it cause ULMB2 darkens te screen. The screen is brighter with ULMB2 off. (Plus no custom res) energy saving mode was off. Situation is like this https://reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/s/vifL5gSmPG

Why do you need maximum brightness in games? It ruins your eyes, kills your vision. Dyac and maximum brightness ruin your eyes. Thus, people become blind by the age of 30 and are forced to buy glasses.
Doctors recommend using a brightness of 150 cd/m².
This is enough to see any objects in games.
You're used to cranking up 1000 cd/m2, it's like a flashlight pointed at your face. You can't use the monitor like that.

Not that I don't trust you. BUT you need some official sources to make medical statements like DYAC ruins your vision permanently with a certain brightness. Else it's just fearmongering.
