I can't buy ANY monitor on their website, it doesn't have the "Add to cart" or "Pre-Order" buttons available. I do wonder why Zowie mark up their monitors with 250+ euro in my country when other companies don't.leesunchoo wrote: ↑09 Oct 2022, 07:42You could get it directly from Zowie's site for 650 euros when it comes out

I think it is because the monitor will be available from the 18th of October, only reviewers received the monitor early for testing and review purposes.Bloods wrote: ↑09 Oct 2022, 09:18I can't buy ANY monitor on their website, it doesn't have the "Add to cart" or "Pre-Order" buttons available. No, like, I can't buy ANY of their monitors, not the 144, 240, larger models etc. They don't sell their monitors on their website to Sweden, I have no idea why but they don't and they charge these ridiculous mark ups compared to other companies.
I can buy mice on their website, "Add to cart" exists there and I can also see the purchase option on the US website.

So sorry to hear that, on my end it says Notify Me, mind you I am in Australia, does it give you that option at least?Bloods wrote: ↑09 Oct 2022, 22:41No, like, I can't buy ANY of their monitors, not the 144, 240, larger models etc. They don't sell their monitors on their website to Sweden, I have no idea why but they don't and they charge these ridiculous mark ups compared to other companies.

Oh he probably did test but did not put it up since the lag differences are negligible for most people... or because of other reasons. Probably not topping the chart. Not that it matters.lizardpeter wrote: ↑08 Oct 2022, 11:33There’s no question this monitor is the best competitive gaming monitor ever. Well, that is contingent on the input lag being as good as ASUS 360 Hz and Acer 390 Hz (which unfortunately he did not test).
Possible flaws for upcoming nvidia tuned 500 Hz TN:lizardpeter wrote: ↑08 Oct 2022, 11:33On the other hand, the ASUS 500 Hz TN monitor will be extremely tempting.
- fewer and weird variable overdrive options (overshoot is already visible on their slowmo teaser)
- high/locked overdrive with ULMB
- limited ULMB min/max refresh range
- higher than usual lag ULMB
- no ULMB pulse phaze control
- no ULMB-SYNC
- no ULMB for amd cards

The context was me initially making a remark on it being 900 Euro in Sweden whilst other companies didn't apply anywhere near the markup that Zowie does on their products here, another user said it could been had for 650E on their official website to which I replied that they don't sell directly to Sweden from there, it had nothing to do with the date. Also Sweden applies a 25% Tax to most imported goods so it would still have been over 800E.daviddave1 wrote: ↑11 Oct 2022, 02:21maxgaming has the monitor just as fast? https://www.maxgaming.se/sv/datorskarm/ ... amingskarm 2022-10-15 it says
Anyway this thread has been hijacked enough about this, would be nice seeing a Rtings review but that will probably take half a year

Your right if you transfer SEK 8,990 to euro its 817,07 Euro. I’ll wait for reviews of both monitors with latency tests before making any decisions since my 390 Hz IPS is fine for now. But I’m not concerned with ULMB options because I don’t use them at all on any monitors. Can’t stand the feature, honestly. I also don’t use GSYNC or FreeSync.Discorz wrote: ↑10 Oct 2022, 02:06Possible flaws for upcoming nvidia tuned 500 Hz TN:
