Voted on RTINGS as well!
I'm surprised there's so little in-depth reviews of this monitor while it's being considered as the top choice 240hz IPS.

I believe upcoming ViewSonic XG2431 is about to replace these goto 240Hz monitors. It's Blur Busters 2.0 certificatied. So you better go vote for that one

Which settings are you guys using for contrast, brightness & R/G/B values?
Already enabled 10-bit colors and used CRU to make 1080p native res on PC.
For some reason stuff still looks kinda grainy, especially on white backgrounds.

While the ViewSonic XG2431 is expected to be a fantastic monitor, it has a 23.8'' IPS panel, which may be a tad too small for some people.
The MSI MAG251RX has a 24.5'' IPS panel, which as far as I'm aware, is a more popular choice.

Re: The Official *MSI Optix MAG251RX* Owners Thread
It seems common for IPS's to have bad black uniformity. My laptop's IPS also has some pretty bad leakage.. Note that the bottom right corner isn't really that orange in person as my phone is adding a lot of saturation, and the color moves around depending on viewing angle. I don't really see this as an RMA situation because after seeing pictures here and RTINGs reviews of the MSI and Alienware versions of this AUO panel I just accept that most of these units are going to have some major bleed. Normal usage looks great.
So this is the first time I've used a 25" 1080p display after using a 24" for ten years. I expected to either just be ok with it or maybe slightly dislike, it but I really do like the size increase and the image is still very sharp. It honestly feels better and I immediately clicked with it the moment I started using it. This is definitely the best looking monitor I have ever used too. The IPS colors and clarity are just amazing. Image blur is also decent for an IPS.
Here is my MSI MAG251RX backlight bleed:

Re: The Official *MSI Optix MAG251RX* Owners Thread
hey guys
just got this screen - im having problem with sharpness. Games are blurry and render distance is bad. At old HP 22x i dont have this problems.
Propably its because bad scaling, but every time i try to make 240hz resolution in CRU my computer(?) or graphic driver keeps crashing whole system and i need to use "restart-all" from cru folder.
Im using rtx3070ti with lastest windows 10.

brightness
When I am using the built-in monitor osd and changing the brightness feels like it is doing nothing. I have tried highering the brightness through nvidia control panel but it doesn't look very good.
