Hi guys, I have a problem with vg259qm.
My windows display settings showing 279.857hz.
and when I look at settings with cru, I see it is different from the default settings shared on the forum
Nothing wrong, because it's a stock "280Hz" refresh rate and timings.
And yes, refresh rate placement in CRU become a bit different when overclocking enabled. That's what could have confused you.
My settings are the same as yours, so don't worry about it. ;) https://i.ibb.co/9w3NYYS/280-Hz-stock.png

Anyone know the input lag for the VG259QM at 120hz? I'm using this monitor for both PC and Xbox Series X gaming. I have my Xbox set to output 120hz and I haven't seen any information about input lag at 120hz.

Hi, since scrambling through this big of a thread is not my strongest point, any simple answer with monitor settings for VG259QM that is best for the lowest input lag? Think I have gotten some stuff into my head from reading but want to ask myself. My main games are CS and Battlefront. Should Adaptive-sync be disabled or enabled? Overdrive 60 or 80? Is 240 better than 280 for the lowest input lag? Does ELMB sync have any befits for FPS-games? (worth using?) Any tips are appreciated. Got this monitor in today. :D

Hi, if i overclock the monitor to 280hz, how will the input lag be if the game has a lot of fps drops (fortnite)? Since the monitor have high input lag on 60hz. I got a rtx 3080 and i7 10700k.

For lowest input lag use highest refresh rate, adaptive sync and ELMB disabled (unnoticeable difference).
For 200-280 fps use OD80, below 200 OD60 or lower.
Uncap fps in game, fullscreen mode, keep gpu load below 95%.
Some mice have lower latency with higher DPI.
Test ELMB/SYNC yourself and see if it has any benefits. :)

You can do some calculations from this

Do you think running the monitor at 240hz instead of 280hz would prolong the life of the monitor seeing how 280hz is an "oc"?
