In stock on amazon. Better be fast, looks like they only have 10 available
actually it's being sold by PCNation, not amazon. not sure how legit that company is
Hmm I didn't notice that before I purchased it. Kind of misleading when it links the official ViewSonic Store on the sales page, but I guess Amazon always does that.
Cancelled the order and checked out that reviews on that 3rd party - not great

I ordered it from Walmart yesterday after teo shared that it was in stock there. I've just been waiting so long for this monitor that I had to order it as soon as it became available. Very excited to finally get my hands on it.

sorry for my english . if I put od in some random number like 35, would it be saved and stay there after I restart the pc or change the refresh rate ? or does it turn back to default number like benq monitors ? that would be nightmare , I live in iran and there are no Return and refund policy here and I have to pay about 150 usd just for shipping ! I just bought benq xl2546 and that was such a disappointment ( payed 650 usd for this overshot mess ,worked 4 month for that money ) . it is nightmare here to buy a monitor , you could not test a monitor unless you buy it and then you could not refund it even if it had dead pixel ! oh god

I’m interested in buying this monitor as well, but I can’t bring myself to buy it without seeing Rtings or tftcentral review first. That’s not just for this monitor though to be fair that’s every monitor. Some of them have bad overshoot at lower hz than the maximum refresh rate especially 60hz. A good example is the new Asus PG32UQ with its slow pixel response times or the Asus VG259QM which has only 1.9ms of input lag at its maximum refresh rate, but at 60hz the input lag increases to 35.0ms! Some of the best 360/240hz monitors have only 8-10ms of input lag at 60hz while also maintaining good pixel response times for comparison.
It’s a gamble buying any monitor blindly. I wish companies would divulge this information on the product webpage, but they obviously don’t want you to know the specs if the monitor has some shortcomings. I’m not saying this monitor has any shortcomings i’ve just been burned before buying blindly that’s all i’m trying to say.

XG4231 is a fast IPS, confirmed, with premium blur reduction. VG25/279QM lag at fixed 60Hz is a very rare case. PG32UQ is slow IPS.
Yeah true, reviews help us alot choosing right monitor.

Sweet. Ordered one from walmart. I figure I can always return it if I need to. This way I at least have one on its way in case it gets sold out again. Dont want to have to wait again for it.

Good to hear. Finally looks like the freight container ship containing new run of XG2431’s finally landed in North America and finally restocked a few US shops. Shortages are really acute these days.
