Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
guys in the case of this monitor in csgo with the freesync , in my case i run a maximum of 300fps , going to prevent the tearing?
really thinking in waiting for the XG2431(too long still i think) , but in my list is the XV252QF and the XV272X , any comments regarding the fps and freesync?

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
yep, it will prevent tearing. But I think one of the admins mentioned earlier on in this thread that at 300+ you should not see much tearing anyway. I would say that I deff agree. its pretty clean.. its not like tearing at 165hz but theres still micro tears depending on the game and your system... I'm still loving VRB + OD extreme for a few days now though !

How does it compare to my vg259qm? I shot some videos with my smartphone and paused the video and did a sniping tool of the photo
at 280hz with od 80 and od60

Invalid test!
Misaligned sync track - you must move your camera and follow the ufo at same speed instead of keeping it stationary.
You ended up with unrealistic results. Ufo should look the same as if you tracked it with your eyes.
Here are some results of VG279QM, should be similar to VG259QM.
Surprisingly 280Hz is very similar to 360Hz when comparing ufos.

thanks buddy, i was following the ufos while i shot the video at the same speed. I then just paused the video in almost the same position and shot the photo from there so the results should be fine if you want i can upload the video i tookDiscorz wrote: ↑29 Jun 2021, 07:21Invalid test!

Sure upload your video, if possible raw uncompressed footage.
This is how it should look like, and than pause (freezeframe). Camera settings must be set properly.

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
That image of the PG259QN does not reflect what I see with mine at 360Hz. I've been trying to do a video with my iPhone 7 HD 60fps and I can't record a video that reflects what my eyes see. I think I'm not holding the phone steady and it's trying to focus.
EDIT: my eyes are seeing more like what the VG279QM @ ELMB 280Hz and MAG251RX AMB 240Hz shows.

Usually parts around alien eyes, white windows/lights and black lines in between is hard to perfectly capture, everything else can be very close.
