Re: Sudden mouse slowdown with no fix?
Noticed the mouse slowdown on a PC I tried lately.
No idea what was causing it tho, we changed mousepad/skates but nothing really changed.
Nothing to do with input lag because the game was running perfectly fine, it's just the mouse that felt like the sens was incredibly slow.
Snappy, but slow.
I somehow believe it's a bad windows installation.

Yeah allright, fixed the mouse slowdown.
Game bar wasn't 100% disabled, you need to disable it via script.

Are you running discord while playing?thesoran wrote: ↑01 Jun 2024, 20:10I have a few mice and have even ordered new ones and they all feel slow. Just to be clear, 1600dpi now feels like 800dpi and 1000hz feels like 500hz. I used to play apex and other games at 800 dpi. (1.8 in game sens for apex) but now, to have the same speed I have to increase it to 1600dpi and 1.8sens. However, this feels extremely worse than before. Mid fight feels like the mouse is getting even SLOWER. It is unbearable to play and games feel extremely choppy and “wonky”. I did not have this issue about 7-8 months ago and have been plagued with it since , very suddenly. Spec: 5950x 3080, 16gb ram @ 3600mhz
Things i’ve tried:
-different monitors
-diff gpu
-different mice
-different mousepads
-reinstalling windows to different ssds as well (a lot of times lol)
-bios updates (even trying older bios)
-all drivers up to date and tried windows 10/11
-fullscreen optimizations on/off
-nvidia control panel settings, power management modes, etc.
-temperatures are all great, even bought a new cpu fan, repasted
-turning of softwares related to mouse (razer synapse etc.)
-hidusbf to change hz of mouse manually
vsync on/off also with gsync on/off or a variances of both and rivatuner with -3, -2, -1 fps as well.
