https://tftcentral.co.uk/news/viewsonic ... ertion-bfi says it has 450 nits SDR peak brightness! Thats the highest brightness OLEDwise. Most Oled pnales have 270 nits SDR max brightness. It does say that ABL needs to be enabled for it. From my limited knodlegde on OLED techt ABL kinda suck for gaming. Not sure though. Most likely the panel has 220 nits max.hart wrote: ↑02 Apr 2024, 16:07ViewSonic Announce XG272-2K OLED Monitor with 240Hz and Black Frame Insertion (BFI)
with the screen also being certified under the ‘Blurbusters Verified’ scheme making it an interesting option for gaming enthusiasts.

shame it is a bit too late for a 240hz oled, I will keep waiting for the asus 480hz with gsync pulsar in august. Viewsonic should have announced the same but with the new panel, not the 1.5 year old one.

Has anyone managed to enter the service menu or factory menu of the PG27AQN? If possible, detail the steps you've done to accomplish this

about the available models to purchase now, and seeing that companies have their own technologies (Rapid IPS, Fast IPS), is there any panel technology that we should not buy in 2024?
for example, lets compare the following:
* Lenovo Y27f-30, released in 2023 with IPS 240hz full hd panel,
* Acer Nitro XV272UK F, released in 2021, IPS 300hz 2k panel.
from a response rate, input lag time perspective, is the 2023 monitor faster?
There are so many options, and there's so many deals available with 2019-2022 monitors, its confusing, since we many times do not have access to the panel details. so Its difficult to compare.
Also, it seems only BenQ is using TN panels, and their price is higher when compared to a similar IPS panel.

Properly done UFOs of the PG27AQN, since most reviewers cannot seem to have reading comprehension and include pursuit tracks (to validate the shot)

The PG27AQN's panel - M270DAN10.0 is the fastest IPS ever to be released.mushi wrote: ↑19 Jun 2024, 09:24about the available models to purchase now, and seeing that companies have their own technologies (Rapid IPS, Fast IPS), is there any panel technology that we should not buy in 2024?

Apart from the 27G1S which also boasts with incredible G2G, there isn't anything like it on the reviewed monitor market.
