BenQ XL2411z darker at top part

Post by zefs » 10 Oct 2014, 05:15

Hello, I recently got a BenQ XL2411z, upgraded to V2 firmware and have set it up as I like. I've noticed that it's darker on the top of the screen then goes lighter on the bottom, it's like having a gradient so I just wanted to ask if other owners have observed the same thing?

What happens if you move your head up towards the top of the screen?
Because you sound like you're describing gamma/color shift ,which is going to show worse on a 27" than a 24".

It becomes lighter, but if I set the monitor height to fix that "issue" then bottom part becomes even lighter/washed.
I suppose it's the viewing angles and the TN panel but thought of asking if other owners have the same or it's different from model to model. I guess there is no way to fix that?
