I fixed it finally used chiefs recommendation

I am a long-time lurker of this board and I had the same Issues as everybody else here. Cs2 and Valorant, from massive input-delay to desync and speed demons peeking like bugattis.

I went trough everything new hardware double conversion UPS, every tweak I could find, EMI-meter, Electrician which fixed grounding and every possible thing posted here in this forum.

Something at my place was not right.
I confirmed this by playing from friends houses and many lan parties where I had no Issues at all.

Then I read the post from chief regarding to switch off every breaker in the house to possible find a faulty device or something that introduces faults in my power grid at home.

After switching off everything except the room my computer was in, nothing changed. Then I unplugged everything in that room one by one.

In the end there was a single surge protector (6way Strip by the manufacturer "HAMA") to which my accesspoint (Ruckus R510 really expensive enterprise AP) was connected.

And suddenly everything worked like at my friends houses (for two weeks now I waited until I post to make sure it's not placebo or goes bad again like many others experienced here).

I then removed the surge protector and placed my accesspoint in a different room and it worked. I cannot tell you if it was the 6way surge protect or the AP beeing in the same circuit or too close to my pc.

In cs2 you can (while beeing in a match) enter "net_connection" and you get a histogram showing dropped and out of order packets.

with the surge protect and the AP connected in my room I get loads of out of order packets as. As soon as I turn them off nothing is out of order.

I used this to test every electrical appliance in my house. The only other thing that introduced out of order packets was a Phillips Hue Dimmable lamp in the next room (different breaker).

I hope this helps someone. This has to be one of the most annoying/ frustrating things to happen to a gamer.

I'm glad that your problem was solved by turning off one of the devices in the apartment. Unfortunately, I receive interference even when no device is used in the house and the meter does not see consumption.

my surge protector was just bad. I feel like also can't be bad to move your wifi ap far away from you computer / modem. I recon that was it.

i tried 3 apartments in my small town here and everywhere it was almost the same bad and trash when it comes to hitreg connection, peekers advantage messed up even with small stable ping 20-30ms and my timings feels just very wrong and like out of order same like you describe with packets. maybe that case for me too but i dont feel or see anything ingame and the inet stats show nothing weird...

but idk more what to believe today...cause i tried many things here too and still dont have rly idea what messed up so hard my online gaming experience.


hard to explain all this but its never normal what happens with online gaming in these days for some players and i dont even want know how much worse it can get for some unlucky souls out there...that probably for sure gonna hit by this all one day too and the ingame performance stats gonna drop as if you like an full idiot and noob who just start play the game.


there no really light at the end of this all.
that all what i know and can tell.

but the players must know itself what is better and what they want and if they want to be sheep forever...then its there choice and right to be an sheep forever.

just some edit: if online gaming would be really about skill and talent...then this world would be different and we dont would see players like s1mple, monesy or donkks who manage to achieve very top even with ping of 100. that all just crazy.

but now today watch at s1mple and what happen to him...but sadly himself dont understand this all or he dont even want but i dont believe that such player cant see the difference before/after and what happen to him. that is so stupid all.

but that just explains all and how the world really is.
its all about luck and to be at right time at right place and that how it rly is. pure chaos.

This world is not "either 1 or 0". Black Magic. I have watched your youtube videos. Your aiming, game sense and crosshair placement are at the level of a player who has just started playing fps.
To be honest, I think even if you are given the best hitreg and 0 emi issues, you will probably only be able to reach a medium level of strength.

dude i understand this. i know that im not gonna be the best even with full hitreg fix and if everything works fine with input lag feel and no more random slowdowns happens or speedups in my gameplay experiences.

the only thing i want to get is the old days smooth and good stable gameplays without bullshit hitreg situtations or random peekers advantages and random timings where i have zero control over and where im feel like a full bot and noob. idk if you can understand this feeling and problem im talk about...

but in early days before this problem...it was just different but something happened and everything turned to rly shit just over in a week or month where i start to notice this huge difference and that something wrong going on with my online gaming...but what rly happened i still cant full understand and figure out till today. but i know for sure today that its not about my pc hardware or devices and that not the real problem and cause of all this bad changes.

i fucking beat the shit out off my new 240hz monitor because i realized and understand that even this dont help me with my problem but just the game picture looks more smoother with 240hz for the eyes but the bad random hitregs and the weird random feel that im playing in some unexplainable disadvantage still happens randomly and today. this whole thing is for sure not about my mouse or game sense or even crosshair placements that you saw in my gameplay. its something different that i cant rly explain even to myself and i still search for answers what that is and why there such big differences between players when speaking about to STATS or KAD in some matches.

now im playing again on fucking 60hz monitior cause all this input lag shit made rly aggressive like never before in my life. rip my new 240hz monitor.
but ye shit like that can happen to some people that already have weak psyche like me in this life and are awake about the shit that going on with online gaming.

i just hope for others dont gonna rage like me and dont gonna beat the shit out of there new hardware and devices and fall in such depressions cause of that shit problems


look its very simple. i know where i make mistakes and where i get killed deserved and i have no problem with it but if compare with others players and how lucky they are with good hitregs and very smooth gameplay even on 60hz monitors and playing somewhere around diamond and immortal ranks...that all is just crazy stuff for me and i cant understand how all other players that still stuck in silver rank cant see this all and realize this.

cause i know for sure that not all silver players playing on bad hardware or devices and probably some have even better hardware than some players who are in diamond or immortal stuck right now.

and all this things are just not fair if ask me and never normal when it comes to online gamine and hardware/devices. and now the question: why players should upgrade there systems and devices if that dont even helps them really and they still suck like before the upgrade and everything still same bad and feels wrong ???


so the problem must somewhere elsewhere...either its the internet providers or maybe rly some EMI stuff and electricity or maybe somehow location related idk fucking know what to think more and how to explain this all.
