Well there've been a guy here named texte or smth like that, he claimed back in a days that it resolved his issue, but he came after a while, I've got air purifier too ,brand name is xiaomi, but it didn't helped in my case.
SEMI-FIX FOR INPUT DELAY

IMPORTANT:
This subforum is for advanced users only. This separate area is for niche or unexpected lag issues such as electromagnetic interference (EMI, EMF, electrical, radiofrequency, etc). Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

Just try this and then ask me what I mean, or are you completely stupid?
Not using a humidifier its an air purifier theres no water involved, the purifier just removes foreign particles in the air and blows clean air back out
Re: SEMI-FIX FOR INPUT DELAY
And most air purifiers have ionizers that static charge the air. While most people who have made posts about this causing problems with their computers and peripherals you may be perceiving this as a good thing. Its the only explanation that makes sense.Jurr wrote: ↑13 Aug 2024, 19:23Slender wrote: ↑13 Aug 2024, 16:59What I'm saying is that the water you use in the air purifier helps you remove interference from your PC, to do this more effectively and without harm to your health, I recommend that you use a spray bottle of water, which you should spray on the PC case. Re: SEMI-FIX FOR INPUT DELAY
Well there is no explanation for this issue as a whole, because we wouldve found a cause and solution by now. You say most, that doesnt mean the purifier wont work for me, other people have other solutions that work for them that might not work for you so its really hard to tell to give a good solution backed up with good evidence, and because of how random it isTell wrote: ↑13 Aug 2024, 19:34And most air purifiers have ionizers that static charge the air. Re: SEMI-FIX FOR INPUT DELAY
Well submarine using sonars because Frequency (wifi, radio and so on) has hard time travel thrue water. So if you add more water in your air in your room that water will block some frequency. Thats only explanation that make sense to me….
So now we need put our PCs to water tank to test it…

Re: SEMI-FIX FOR INPUT DELAY
As air (purified or not) is not part of the computer’s inner working (except for cooling, but purification makes no difference there), this is completely placebo.
Next time, we will try it with Audiophile crystals and chiropractic adjustment of the XBOX chassis. The results will surprise you!

Honestly, on console, only a few things can alter input delay: Using wired controls vs wireless controls, using wired ethernet vs wireless LAN to connect to the network, and, in edge cases, optimizing airflow of the console. Overheating may lead to throttling. Other than that, there is probably nothing you can do – except optimize output latency by using game mode on modern TVs or getting an OLED (for faster pixel transitions).
But please think critically before falling for snakeoil – and for those of you offering snakeoil: If you don’t offer measurements, we will NEVER believe you if your explanations are not even plausible.

Because you screeming placebo and snake oil….
In what enviroment will radio wave penetrate more.
1. in absolute dry air?
2 in wet air?
When you find answer then you can start make some statement.
Re: SEMI-FIX FOR INPUT DELAY
First you exclude effect of puritizer device on grid to tell something else makes effects.
Even then, there are so many claims in every topic, but everyone keeps their hands away from real scientific tests even after trying to fight issues for years, in hope that their next "fix" will be better investment.

Re: SEMI-FIX FOR INPUT DELAY
At first i thought this thread is a troll. Just googled a little bit and found out that ionisation is also used in productionstreets against electromagnatic static.
