Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

Unfixable stuttering on pc.
I've been apart of these forums for a while, reading all the things that people have tried to fix. I've got the "Dirty Power" "EMI" thing. Whatever you want to call it. I've had this issue for 3 years and the only thing that's made any difference (very slight difference) is an EMI Dirty power filter. This shit has destroyed my mental health. I was attempting to go professional on Valorant. Woke up one day and bam the screen looks like shit. I've tried so many things to fix it and I'm pretty much out of ideas. It's getting to the point now where I barely even play on my pc. I'm in contact with an electrician, friend of the family and I'm hoping he can fix this issue, however it's hard to still have hope when it just kills you. I'm probably going to retire from gaming soon as this doesn't seem fixable, and my mental health really can't take much more of it. Nor my wallet. If anyone has any steps they've took that fixed the issue I'd love to hear them but I think my time gaming might be well and truly done with. I've even heard that when you move house the problem can still persist and I worry that will happen to me. Sorry to anyone looking for any help on this, just needed to get this off my chest. I pray for everyone who is suffering with this problem and wish for the best. Good luck.

One question i have about this, Have someone tell some friend to go to his house to try if he has too the same problem with the computer?
If he starts play on your computer and works good for him its body factors i guess.

Re: Unfixable stuttering on pc.
yes, many people tried that and as far as I know, all of them reported that the other person can play without any problems
I also made this test myself, not in my house but in a gaming cafe, I played with 2 average players at the same pc, they could play without any problem while for me it was the same thing compared to my house and the other like 9 places that I had tested at that point, so they could play like 10x better than me
in the game I play (osu) this issue can be seen in a very explict way, since we can record replays, analyse the cursor movement, the keyboard inputs and it is possible to see how delayed you pressed the keys etc. my interference is so huge that it makes my gameplay completely abnormal, even if someone try to reproduce that they can't, and even if someone is really bad at the game or they play with a lot of lag, the gameplay is completely different from what I get, and it is something that happens constantly when I'm touching the mouse/keyboard and not something that happens sporadically, that's why the source of this problem is so obvious for me

Re: Unfixable stuttering on pc.
I've had a friend come round and they have seen the issue. I've also been to an internet cafe and the game looks fine on their pcs. One thing I don't really understand is my brothers PS and the downstairs TV works fine but my pc and my brothers pc suffer with this issue.

Ever tried a double-conversion UPS ?Jimbob2404 wrote: β30 Oct 2024, 05:43I've had a friend come round and they have seen the issue. Problem can vary from person to person but personally for me it was from electricity and mostly from unstable voltage.

Re: Unfixable stuttering on pc.
In my case, I tried on 2 different houses, 2 different computers, different Monitors, and in general, different hardware..
With my PS5 it happens too, so, its not computer related. Im with you that is internet but i tried different companies and same problem too.
What im trying now is to get away router from same room than PC and PS5, it works a bit better... But every time y touch router to move or fiber cables, mouse sens and desync changes.

No I've not tried on of them yet. Did that fix your problem? I'm unsure if it's emi or my electricity directly causing the issue. They're quite expensive though aren't they?widow13 wrote: β30 Oct 2024, 07:02Ever tried a double-conversion UPS ?Jimbob2404 wrote: β30 Oct 2024, 05:43I've had a friend come round and they have seen the issue. yea it's really annoying, just wish i could play a game normally again. I've tried the kitchen and it works better there. That's where the wiring was redone most recently

Only solution I found other than the UPS was a country house I got.Jimbob2404 wrote: β03 Nov 2024, 05:10No I've not tried on of them yet. Did that fix your problem? It's out of town so you can imagine the electricity is perfect there since there is almost no consumption.
PC was working perfectly there, we even took my brother's pc and when we brought it back and he plugged it in, it started shutting down and having random issues the next days since he doesn't own a UPS.
Also that house has 10mbps download speed and it didn't feel laggy once.
