Post your SSD results pls.

Every here who feels bad hitreg, desync and more...like random lags even if on desktop or if only use browser...or maybe laggy and sometimes random drop-outs in sound on startup or while starting apps/games moments...that the thing which i have with all my systems today here but i remeber that in older good days it worked way better quicker fluently and back then i used only HDDs but windows startup/boot worked always like butter here and very fast without any problems much and such weird experiences in the good old days...lol.

type in cmd "winsat disk -drive c"

and screenshot it and post.

i have 3 SSD and 2 of them are Nvme M.2 but the 16.0 random read is for some reason very low around 60mb/s and i get huge latency in the maximum results: 200ms and sometimes 500ms...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-2cQL- ... TechThings

i saw this and this guy has completely other results and way better very low than what i get here...but after i follow his steps it went down to 50ms max latency but still high and after every test its like random and shows again sometimes worse 200+ms result in that max latency stat...and the disk 16.0 random read still 60mb/s only.

but on Sequential 64.0 write and read i have even better results than him and everything seems fine and with 95 precentile results...

i don't understand this rly and how...

just want see if im the only one with this here but i think that can't be normal on fresh windows 11 and one of the M.2 SDD 1000GB that i buy not long ago and used only very rare lol but still the max latency results goes high 200ms and more if doing this test...

this is fresh win 11, WD GREEN M.2 256GB where i only just installed valorant right now and done nothing else more on it...

and on my CRUCIAL BX500 500GB SSD, windows 10...i get exact almost same worst random results in max latency and same low random 16.0 read results...

:?:

that not normal or ?

i still don't test but gonna test now my CRUCIAL P3 M.2 2280 1000GB which i don't used much but i believe and think the results will be same bad and similar...

that looks very nice but cost just some more than what i have but your results in random 16.0 read and latency max are looking normal for what you buy...

you experience hitreg issues and random shit with that SSD ? sounds weird but i now believe that something going wrong with my SSDs and just hard drives overall here and something are affect it and makes my experience worse in everything and cause many other shit problems and troubles in processes and apps and stuff and these results are just the proof for me right now...

cause this results which i get my SSDs here can't be normal ...or im wrong ? and its just normal results for such low 16.0 read and such huge max latency for these both SSD i have ? WD green 256GB and Crucial BX500 500GB ?

Please don't post "electrical input lag" stuff outside the off-topic section. Thanks.

Dear Moderators,

I hope you won't mind if I mention that SSDs are unlikely to be the source of input lag in games, as most AAA games today cache everything into memory. However, if this perspective is not appropriate for the discussion, feel free to delete my post—I completely understand.

Thank you!

yes you probably right...

but i still don't understand why the 16.0 random read is so low here.

here another test from me with other fresh ssd.

Image

the speeds better and max latency but the 16.0 random read is still only 138mb/s here and that not normal or ?...

and the dude in youtube video has like 300mb/s and others here have much higher...

what could be the reason for that ?

You said you have 3 SSDs. Maybe you configured it in a way that there is not enough PCI-E bandwith for all of them? Does it look the same if only one SSD is connected?
