I also don’t understand why your topic about "SSD performance" exists on a forum where people are discussing input lag. Probably no one cares?
Post your SSD results pls.
Re: Post your SSD results pls.
i just want to understand and figure out why my results are so different to others and especially to the youtuber video one who runs this speed test and the low 16.0 read if compare...
And i am not the only one here with such Post about SSDs which exist...
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=13979
btw if something wrong with your ssd and it hitting random 100% load then it for sure can cause inputlag...and a hdd is much slower in boot and everything when it comes to map loading in games and even in online. if you ran valorant with HDD then it takes forever to load into an map...that my experience. when i tried hdd then the match already was going for 2 rounds without me...before i could join in...
with SSD is quicker but still random with the wait loading time...sometimes its fast and quik and sometime i sit and wait like 3-5mins before can join the match...
so nothing wrong about this posts.
not saying that harddrivers itself are the cause for input lag...but if you have input lag then it gonna affect everything inside your pc performance wise and every parts and probably even your harddrives.
as example: i can't play more online games with 2,4Ghz Wifi and get constant huge Ping Spikes on it but the Hitreg feels and works for some reason much better on it than if i use LAN cables or 5Ghz where spikes rare but still happens too but hitreg wise it gets much much worse with that...where i don't even have a chance to land a hit and kill and it's much harder/unplayable even when everything seems to be stable working...
I already make sure that nothing intefere with router and tried many stuff and used other different wifi devices but on all and the 2,4Ghz connection it is still full of ping spikes/lag here with up to 200ms here...
i can for sure say that wifi devices and router are not the reason for this spikes here on 2,4ghz connect and something is wrong inside my PCs which causes that. and sadly i can't even figure out that...
that why i make such posts and comments...to understand if im the only one here with that or if it is a normal thing and same for everyone working that way...
