Man, just coming back here to post that I'm sad that I can't get BFI working properly with HDR enabled with RetroArch.

RetroArch and HDR is fine on my setup (running at 180hz), but when I enable BFI it's like the colors go dim, pop, dim, pop randomly on top of also doing BFI.

Wonder if anyone else has got RetroArch + HDR + BFI working correctly.

I can either do RetroArch + BFI, or RetroArch + HDR, but not everything at the same time. Boooo..

Here's a video of what it looks like:

EDIT: I believe this is actually not a RetroArch bug and a result of the local dimming "feature" of the HP Omen 27 qs being a bit laggy.

How about BFI choices for pal/50hz, 100hz, 150,hz, 200hz, etc. I used nightly 2024-04-17_RetroArch.7z, and did not see them.
With those frequencies, which one is better for you? I'm looking into it
Still no PAL BFI.(preferring 150hz and 250hz to prevent image retention)
