Is My Eyestrain and Headaches Are Caused By FRC?

Post by ipman12345 » 18 Feb 2025, 07:01

hello,

Iam using AMD system (CPU and GPU),I have Intel and NVIDIA system too For testing.

The eyetrain and Headaches are too much with this system than intel and Nvidia(maybe because AMD uses dithering by default)
and i have tried Intel and nvidia i also tried disabling Dithering on Nvidia X server Control Panel but it still causes eyestrain headache problem but LESS.(either on or off)

My first Monitor was Benq GW2270 + AMD system which according to displayspecification, com is TRUE 8 bit NO FRC which worked great.

i have switched many monitors because of the problem all monitor that i have used after that model uses FRC

I am Planning to buy Dell SE2425-H which according to displayspecification, com does not uses FRC but i am not being able to verify this on DELL website or elsewhere

So my Question is Can FRC really Cause this Problem or the problem is something else.

thank you :)

No, I don't think FRC is your issue. There are a multitude of possibilites on what can cause issues.
Listing displays which worked for you and ones which didn't would help the search.

I bought a Dell S2225-H True 8 bit, It improved a lot but still caused a lot of dizziness so i tried disabling all kinds of blue light filter and my headache is gone its hard to work on with very bluish display but i am trying to find solution of this problem.
