You first need to change the priority of the game you are playing in the task manager, then you can find it in the registry
I did change cs2.exe to high priority via task manager and still it does not show in children / parents folder.you can see my screenshot on my last post to see.
Have you restarted your computer?
of course
You give it a try and disable fullscreen optimization

I just noticed something very weird, almost game breaking, in Overwatch with the DWM incorporation. Mind you this might be just circumstances but if someone else could try something similar to see if it happens to them too it'd be great. Anyways I'm not 100% sure what made it act this way, but if I go in-game with stock settings on Overwatch and my monitor, and then stand still, crouch and bring forward the scoreboard (should take 1 second to do) my games resolution changes and everything becomes slightly bigger and enemies move slower on om my screen. This is the same feel you get when you play at 4k basically, however, the speed reduction doesnt apply to myself. The biggest thing is how the hitreg changes. I barely have to aim to score headshots. What Im saying is the game feels extremely smooth and responsive. But the hitboxes are massive.

But this only lasts for like 10 seconds....

As soon as something happens on my screen that changes the FOV the effect goes away. That means knockbacks, sprinting effects and looking at the scoreboard.

But I can easily trigger it back by simply crouching and bringing up the menu in half a second. I managed to do it so well that my Widowmaker looked like aimbot lol. Just crouch and tab between each shot lol. The crouching is important because it changes your fov slightly and by tabbing the game now locks in a new overlay that completely butchers ingame logic. OW uses favor the shooter so thats why it works.

Something really weird is happening with the DWM for me when small changes in my scaling happen and I drop the in game framerate at the exact time. As long as nothing happens on the screen that triggers a window effect it stays on.

My monitor is a 3440x1440 oled that play on 16:9 default which means it was set to 100hz and framerate in OW is locked to 100. Well it def. feels like an exploit but I cant stop to wonder if that is all my problems have been all these years. Bad luck with bad scaling in games. I didnt have this problem before because older games didnt use techniques that is based around client side settings. You are probably getting ferrari-peaked because this dude just happens to have a good monitor scaling. And the scaling from DWM changes from many different matters, even from the background and even color-settings is a variable... No wonder I could play so good one day and then 2 matches later I can barely hold my mouse it feels like. The game and the DWM changed the aspect ratio between loading and completely destroyed server sync.

Im glad I learned how to reset the monitor profiles. Because its mandatory if youre unlucky.

I have found a solution to the problem of not being able to find the game program in Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\GameConfigStore\Children. It is very simple.

1. When opening the game, press win+g to bring up the game bar.
2. Mark the game as "Game" in the game bar.
3. Then you can find the game program in the registry.
I have no input lag, currently mainly researching desync.

1. I downloaded xbox from the microsoft store
2. I opened it and it offered me to install services for the gamebar, I installed them
3. I restarted the PC, opened valorant, win+g, set the gamebar overlay to define valorant as a game
4. I restarted the PC and now the valorant folder and the keys in it appear in the registry. the default value is flags = 11

No, it stays at 11

So I did some tests and everything works much better on my end than the default value 11, it seems that 511 is slightly ahead of other values. 10% less stutters with 511 vs 11 according to CapframeX. I've tested 11/111/211/311/511/611/711/811/200

Tested with CS2 FPS benchmark map from the workshop
