you didn't understand me...
stop talking nonsense...
If the monitor does not support at the hardware level, then no custom resolution via CRU, SRE, etc. will not help.
you didn't understand me...
you live in some world of hallucinations and pink ponies. Why does the same monitor work for one person and not for another?
Everything is the same, 0 difference, stable 240 fps in apex, but the picture is not smooth, everything is jerky and there is a feeling of a drop in fps, but the fps is stable. I did everything you said.naporitan wrote: ↑09 May 2025, 14:36I can only make general recommendationsDanGamesTwitch wrote: ↑09 May 2025, 14:16Hi, for the past 3-4 years, I've been struggling with a problem of an unclear and choppy image. It feels like there’s not enough FPS in games, but the FPS is stable at 600-900 depending on the game. I also notice excessive screen shaking when shooting, and the screen blurs too much during turns, making it hard to see anything. It feels like there’s a blur effect applied, along with a sensation of increased recoil in games. I’ve tried all settings and tweaks; four people have configured my BIOS, but nothing has changed. My monitor is a Zowie BenQ XL2546. I live in new buildings with good electricity supply. I’ve changed my PC three times but haven’t changed the monitor. There are no visual problems with the monitor, but all games feel either smooth or as if they’re running at 60 Hz, plus heavy character movement feels sluggish.
CS2 (800 FPS)
Apex (300 FPS)
Warzone (250-290 FPS)
(PC)
R 77800X3D
RTX 4070 TI
DDR5 Team Group T-Create 6000
Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX V2

Zowie BenQ XL2546
Dyac Premium
AMA Premium
There is no smooth image in games at all.
Please tell me if there could be a problem with the monitor. Has anyone encountered something similar?
1 - default bios, xmp - enabled, enable tpm/secure boot (for faceit, vanguard, windows 11, etc)
2 - clean official build of windows 10/11
update the system through windows settings
install drivers from the official website of the motherboard
update the GPU driver, don't use DDU. You just need to run the driver installer and it will remove the previous driver itself.
launch microsoft store and click check for updates and wait for all apps and services to be installed
3 - In nvidia settings you need to select GPU Scaling, Aspect ratio or FullScreen
do not use performance mode in nvidia
4 - Use the resolution in games that your monitor supports.
don't use dyac.
5 - no need to change power plans, no need to use timer resolution, etc.
6 - leave your fps alone don't remove the limit, leave the default 300-400.
disable reflex
7 - plug the mouse into a usb controller that has nothing connected but the mouse
8 - do not install rgb control programs etc.
9 - do not use custom windows and tweaks
Nowadays people like to use shizo tweaks based on tutorials from youtube or take services from tweakers who make things worse.

Those suggestions are worse than not doing anything to your computer. You could try running my files on a separate install in this order: regtweaks -> tweaks > services. You need to use NSudo with Trusted Installer privileges for regtweaks and System privileges for the other two. Not counting in the time spent installing Windows, these takes about 2 minutes. The settings in there aim for the lowest latency without compromises, so you might get worse desync and performance since I haven't tested any of them on newer hardware.DanGamesTwitch wrote: ↑09 May 2025, 17:43Everything is the same, 0 difference, stable 240 fps in apex, but the picture is not smooth, everything is jerky and there is a feeling of a drop in fps, but the fps is stable. You can continue to use custom resolution, but I don't need it. I hope you get it or I'm gonna have to explain it in a million pages
in that case, look for the source of the problem, but be careful, otherwise you will end up in a sect of tweaker or electricity and you will be forced to wash cablesDanGamesTwitch wrote: ↑09 May 2025, 17:43Everything is the same, 0 difference, stable 240 fps in apex, but the picture is not smooth, everything is jerky and there is a feeling of a drop in fps, but the fps is stable. oh, i can explain it to you, but it would take a million pages. it's a very comfortable position.
Argue with you like with a wall, you don’t understand anything, it’s easier for you to use schizo settings and say that it fixes everythingSlender wrote: ↑10 May 2025, 01:22oh, i can explain it to you, but it would take a million pages. it's a very comfortable position.
In fact, it's your hallucination, which you simply can't explain.
I'm not saying that it will fix "everything". I wrote what it does and what it will lead to, unlike you. Your confidence that the cause of the input delay is monitor scaling is nonsense that is not supported by anything except your empty words.naporitan wrote: ↑10 May 2025, 01:54Argue with you like with a wall, you don’t understand anything, it’s easier for you to use schizo settings and say that it fixes everythingSlender wrote: ↑10 May 2025, 01:22oh, i can explain it to you, but it would take a million pages. it's a very comfortable position.

That's your business, play in a custom resolutionSlender wrote: ↑10 May 2025, 01:57I'm not saying that it will fix "everything". I wrote what it does and what it will lead to, unlike you.
