Good day
I Have been scouting this forms for quite a long time and I've never come to the point of having to reply or post , but im at this point where i feel i just need External Advice, even tho i know this Issue has been Floating around for a While now!
I have been dealing with the Heavy/Floaty aim mouse movement issue for a while now.
More Noticable on Smaller movements (Tracking someone in Fps games) compared to Flicks
I was on a custom OS for a while but,
i finally decided to default back to windows 10 original version 21h1 using usb + Rufus with a clean (format) install to see if it was the Custom OS that had the problem.
Instantly felt a why more Snappier and Responsive feeling to the mouse! (yes always Disables Mouse Acceleration in windows) and pretty much setting and installing all programs needed.
Day or 2 later things started feeling weird again !
constantly trying to back track to what i might of installed or changed .. couldn't Recall something Strange..
so i decided to reinstall windows again trying with a more Minimal approach using the same usb , Disabled all Windows Updates , Mouse Acceleration etc(No major tweaks) just changing refresh rate to max and installing Latest Chipset drivers & Graphic drivers Installed Msi Afterburner and basic needs like DC , steam , and my Logitech On Board Mouse Software (Not Ghub)!
[Only "real" tweak] i did a recommended Debloat using Chris Titus Utility.
Again mouse Felt Great !
Whent to Bios enabled my Xmp and was good to go!
Relocated my games and started playing to the level of Enjoyment, next day woke up put the Pc on same issue came back!
Again backtracked ...
disabled XMP ( To suspicion for inconsistent or unstable latency) no difference only fps difference
no weird tweaks and or strange adjustments where made or installed so nothing to back track to...
im at the point of losing my mind having the suspicion of EMI , but not pinpointed since a Windows reinstall temporary fixes it ..
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Re: Floaty/Heavy/Input Lag
Almost everyone who faced this issue for a long time will agree that it is caused by something outside of both hardware and software configurations. Almost everything helps for a short while, but the lag creeps back up the same way, whether you enabled/disabled XMP or put magnets on your computer case or wrapped things in tin foil or installed different versions of drivers. This is why I recommend tweaking in the classic meaning of the word, because whether you do it or not, the same kind of lag will appear.

But it does boggle my mind that reinstalling windows Temporary Fixes it.
but i feel like on these Threads *Temporary* is going to be Used a lot.
