your command of English is terrible, I didn't understand a thing.
Yes, my English is amazing.
If you know the difference between "active signal mode" and "desktop mode"

I don't have a xl2586x+ monitor.
but I can assume that extension block "displayid" 1.3 / 2.0 is added to edid.
With timings 1280x960 600hz. But the frequency is slightly higher than the native 1920x1080 600hz.

Provided that the native timings are 1920x1080 599.75hz, and in the displayid block the timings are 1280x960 600.20hz. And in nvcp the display scaling is selected. Then when starting the game (cs2) in 1280x960 mode, "active signal mode" and "desktop mode" will automatically show the numbers 1280x960 600.20hz.

Or is there another way?

I often do not clearly state my thoughts. google translate is far from perfect. And in addition to the translator, I myself am mistaken. Do not take me seriously.

Nope. I have no idea what "active signal mode" and "desktop mode" are.
