Hello, long time since I last posted - I bought the XL2566K that I am VERY satisfied with about a year++ ago for mainly playing CS2/ WoT.
I am moving away from my current appartment and will leave this display to my sister .
right now the situation on the Israeli market is like this - A brand new XL2566K costs about 1050$ and is barely available anywhere in the country. (being "outdated" and everything)
the new 400Hz version - XL2566X+ - costs about 100$ less. (Yes - these prices are insane but we have VERY high taxes here)
I read a bit about this display - they reduced the size to 24.1" , and people have said that the colours look a lot better than older TN monitors(???)
thing is even my new PC (I'll be getting 9800X3D, some fast DDR5 32GB RAM, and something around the 4080 probably) - I saw that people do not seem to get over 360fps %1 lows even with like alien rigs in this game.
what would u do if you were me? ofcourse, one will argue that paying 100$ less for more refresh rate is a nobrainer, but I am not sure how does this display perform in general
my XL2566K vs. XL2566X+
Re: my XL2566K vs. XL2566X+
I really need advice on this
Re: my XL2566K vs. XL2566X+
If u're happy with XL2566K, why not keep it and buy some random cheap monitor for your sister? Problem solved. She probably doesn't care about high refresh rate anyways? Or are u using your sister as an excuse to buy your self a new toy
? Been there.

colors and brightness are insanely good on the xl2586x compared to the xl2566k if the XL2566X+ has the same colors and brightness as the xl2586x def. worth the upgrade.b0t wrote: ↑16 May 2025, 01:45Hello, long time since I last posted - I bought the XL2566K that I am VERY satisfied with about a year++ ago for mainly playing CS2/ WoT.

well I heard that XL2566X+ is a massive upgrade in terms of colours and in addition it has Dyac2 ?
XL2586x is something that there's no point getting right now for me personally... CS2 doesnt maintain 540fps++ , it dips to around 360fps on its %1 lows unfortunately.
heh, no, My sister plays games that benefit from high refresh rate and has 400-500 frames+ , currently uses my old XL2540 @ 240hz, she wants 360hz so..

Nah it's just a waste of money, i bet xl2566k is still better, dyac2 looks nice in a full screen crosstalk UFO tear, how noticeable in game, I can't tell
