hi.
for several years, I have had problems with hitreg in valorant.
most recently, i was in a pc club and noticed that the character's model stops instantly, unlike mine.
as a result, i set my ram to 1333 mhz and set the timings to 11-11-11-22. my model started stopping faster, but it's still very far from ideal. ferrari peaks did not disappear from this.
i saw this from a guy on YouTube, his nickname is winkli. he has dealt with a similar problem and he has a solution for ddr4.
maybe it will help you =)

Very, and I mean very placebo fix. For some people his tweaks might've worked by complete accident. Like looser timings for XMP/DOCP profile.
I had a voltage stabilizer (don't remember what model) that eventually died after a lot of use. While using it on an XP machine, no input lag or desync, flawless home PC performance.
A lot of these Windows tweaks, especially regedit tweaks can introduce input lag and desync, but none as bad as Windows update. The worst thing that can happen to a Win10/11 system is a windows update with tweaked settings. It's fucked, just reinstall.
What I want to say is do not trust some Australian nutcase on YouTube.

hi. to this day, I use the same timings. I tried to put it back, but the game immediately felt worse. There is also another pc with ddr 3, a girl is playing on it. She also noticed that it was much better. that's my experience.

It's true, I've been doing this for a long time. lately, I've just started installing Windows and downloading the games and applications I need, without "optimizing the system" in any way. There are fewer Ferrari peaks and the game feels better in principle. by the way, the check mark on "disable fso" didn't help me at all, only fps dropscrack wrote: ↑04 Jun 2025, 01:17Very, and I mean very placebo fix. but still, working with timings helped me. I haven't experienced anything like this in other games, only Valorant. maybe it only works with ddr 3, I do not know. but maybe this information will help someone, just like me.
