Hello everybody! So, my monitor is 165hz and i have these settings in nvcp:
Vsync on
Low Latency Ultra
Gsync enabled
I'd like to play single player games like The Last of Us 2, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and other games like these ones with fps capped as if my pc was a console. Whats the best method I can use to cap fps without lowering my monitor refresh rate? Should I just use RTSS and cap it to 60 without changing nvcp settings? Or should change game specific settings in nvcp and disable all settings related to gsync and just use RTSS to cap fps?

If the only thing you need from RTSS is the cap, then you can just cap in NVCP instead. No need to run RTSS all the time.

Idk why games stutter a lot when capping to 60fps, I wish i could have a console-like experience on pc, but man 60fps for me is unplayable. Thats why I don't know which settings to enable or disable to achieve the desired 60 fps smoothness.

Re: fps cap on a 165hz monitor
Quick options.
1. Temporarily switch refresh rate to 60Hz for 60fps games; or
2. Install RTSS or use NVIDIA Control Panel framerate capping. Use an external ultra-high-precision framerate capping utility such as RTSS, to create a 60fps smooth cap (with each 60fps frame being displayed low-lag 1/165sec to your VRR display).
