I know, but luckily i have a AsRock x670e PG Lightning motherboard that supports ECC RAM. Maybe the desync problem will be corrected wth this RAM or doesn´t exist because of choosing better materials? Is it worth to test?
This ECC RAM is not for gaming and you will get worse performance.

ECC ram is for server tasks and they are not suitable for gaming systems.
It is important to understand that the problem is not in temperature conditions(maybe), but most likely in the success of the memory controller in the processor. too many variables for problems to arise...

Yes its worth testing.

For future readers: most consumer mobos will support unregistered ecc ram , but registered rdimms wont work

I currently have a pvs416g400c9k RAM kit (samsung bdie) and am learning all the theory of overclocking, fine tuning. I'll let you know what comes out of it if I can figure it out. So far I only have 1 set of RAM F4-3200C16D-16GTZRX that runs on xmp without desync in games, but I'm hoping that with tuning it's possible to get it perfect.
Multiple people asked if desync continues without xmp on 3 rams , Im curious about it too
Without xmp I don't get desync, but the input lag is higher and for that reason not playable.
My mouse get laggy (on windows or games everywhere) when xmp is on or any increase in mhz.

Did you experienced this too or just system latency?

I cool my RAM with a water cooler (EK Monarch), but what's actually even better is to get a 120mm or 140mm fan and position it so it blows directly onto the RAM. You'll never see temperatures above 40°C again.

PS: I also have Desync XD
that's why I mentioned earlier that "maybe" the problem is not in temperatures. But I can't say for sure.
Maybe the problem is in the processor memory controller.
Maybe the board is not compatible with the RAM...
There are many factors and I don't have the opportunity to check all of this, but I have many sets of RAM and only one without desync in games.

i have 3600 cl14 ram and i get low latency in game but crazy desync appears.

How does the desync appear for you?

this is not a sequence of actions.

Everyone I know to be a good player has a lot of desync. The games I used to play are filled with new players that don't even reach 1 K/D, yet they obliterate us every day now. Games feel completely manipulated.

With my RAM water cooler, my G.SKill DDR4 RAM (4000 CL16 Gear 1 / 1.5V) currently reaches about 42.9°C when gaming (Battlefield 6).

I removed the water cooler and replaced it with a fan that just blows air. The temperature was a maximum of 35°C, and—hold on—the game ran better!

WHAT THE FUCK!?

There was barely any thermal paste left between the RAM and the water cooler. I also installed the RAM coolers, and the pads became like rubber/paper. The RAM sticks are now bare.
