The issue is that after moving to a new apartment I’m experiencing so much latency that I can’t play CS2. I usually sit around 3500+ ELO, but now I can bottom-frag even when playing Premier or against significantly weaker opponents.
Things I’ve done since moving:
Bought a newer, better LAN cable
Tried adding a static IP address
Bought a new 400 Hz BenQ monitor
New mouse and new keyboard

Besides the new hardware, I’ve reset the PC and tweaked the BIOS, but I just can’t seem to find the problem.
The new apartment has the same internet setup as the old one—not fiber, but 1000/500 through a coax cable, exactly what I had before.

My PC specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
RTX 4070
Lancer Blade 6000 MHz CL30 32 GB
MSI MAG Tomahawk B650 WiFi
Arctic Freezer liquid cooling
Kingston NV3 SSD 500 GB PCIe 4.0 M.2
Thermalright 850 W ATX 80 Plus 3.0 Gold

I’ve also felt, ever since I built this PC about six months ago, that there’s been so much input lag/latency that I haven’t been able to play optimally.

Someone please help with this. Even my friends who tried to play a few rounds faceit told me that they feel it instant...
Either get electricty from high voltage lines via step down transformer only for your home
Or go off-grid , buy true sine wave inverter and couple dc batteries

Or next time moving ask electricty company how many houses your house share transformer with ( just ask how big is your transformer is ) They wont tell you , but if you head to headquarters and talk to some guy in there he might check for you if you lucky.
You will wonder how many kva is too much , well less is always better but I woudlnt move in if its bigger than 400kva ( it equals 400.000 watts )
My current home use 1500 kva xformer , pc and hifi runs shit here , all good places I tried uses smaller xformer ( they share less with other homes )
Hello sir, i have an ecoflow battery that can provide electricity for computer & screen for 8hours . But i already tested it 2 month ago & it didn't work. i still had bad hitreg. I charged it during the day when electricity may be bad.

Do you think that i need to charge the battery at the good moment , when electricity is way more pure (less city utilisation) ?
hitreg is perfect when people are asleep (really late in evening or early in the morning). as soon as many people use internet or electricity hitreg is down :(

i tested starlink , 5g & 4 internet provider , all fiber no packet loss at all 38-50 ping no jitter too . many ethernet cards , wifi many cable rj45 types . many computers screen mouses . I thought it was from ISP or fiber network but if it was Starlink should have given me good results.

my last thing to test would be electricity or emi.

I've noticed several times during summer that during a game where the hitreg was horrible , when i turned off my air conditionning suddenly the hitreg was like paradise ! but i couldn't reproduce it :( after several tries. i've tested to switch everything off on the electrical panel except computer & router too . tested every electrical outlet possible

this thing has been driving me so crazy for years now. i'm a really good player on cs 2 & can't even play at 10% of my real level

Well if your complain is hitreg alone ( offline games works perfect , gives pleasure vs ) its not about electricty.

How is image crispiness , sound quality , smoothness of frames , general system latency feel when connected to grid vs battery only. If same focus on isp , dsl line vs.

it feels exactly the same with or without battery / grid. game is perfect on image smoothness sound . only hit registration is really bad & have some ferrari peeks , sometimes i can feel a little bit of delay.
I
'm from reunion island and i noticed all cs 2 players of our island and other fps games too are suffering from it but not necessarily at the same time. sometimes i can hit well (very rare ) & my friend not at all . sometime he can i can't . most often we can't hit properly both.

we have 37-40ms on south african server which should give us a really good hit registration. we have 90-100 ms on singapour , we should have good registration there too. but with 100ms on singapour it's awful most of the time. i already had 2 or 3 perfect games registrationwise with 100 ping , but i played like 100 games  . & i see many russians with 120ms with perfect hit registration. when we have hit register & delay feeling like we have 200 300 ping it's insane.

i was highly suspecting ISP . We have 4 ISP ,i tested them all. fiber & 5G ! fiber : Gpon 1gb/s , 2.4 gb/S and even xgpon 8gb/s
the game shows 0 packet loss & pretty good packet results at the end of the game. No jitter too , full stable. so i don't understand.

i was expecting so much starlink to save us but it doesn't for the moment i 'm desperate ! :( . it's unstable , between 37 to 70 ms Starlink test was that made me think it was maybe something else. but i tried so many things ,game parameters , bios & system parameters , hardware , vpn , software . electrician made up new electrical system in house. i tried in 2 different apartment too. different computers screen mouse , wired wireless . every kind of rj45 cables from cat 5 to cat 8 udp ftp sftp etc, wifi
the problem was already here on cs go but we had more often good hit registration games on cs go than cs 2

Same here mate, I’ve tried 4 different isps, vpns vps and etc, i don’t think it is isp nor electrical stuff. My games are smooth and working perfect only hitreg is shit
