Digital identity threory

Hey everyone!

I’ve been digging into this topic for quite a while now. It feels like everything has already been tested over and over again.
What I’ve noticed is that all these so-called fixes are only temporary — they work fine at first, but after a few hours or days, the same issues come back.

It doesn’t matter where you are or what you change - location, hardware, settings, even the operating system.

Some people experience the problem, others don’t. That’s why I’m convinced these issues are somehow tied to our digital identity.

By “digital identity,” I mean the full set of characteristics that uniquely identify you online — everything from your accounts, your hardware, down to your configuration and habits.

That’s why tweaking a few settings sometimes seems to help — at least temporarily — until your old “self” gets correlated again with the new setup.

To really test this theory, you’d need:

A completely new PC (at least a new motherboard and hard drive, ideally all-new hardware)

A brand new Steam/Epic account

A new Google account

And most importantly: never log back into any of your old accounts (bank, social media, anything), or they’ll link you back to your previous digital identity.

To be totally honest, I suspect this kind of issue tends to show up after using privacy-focused or encrypted networks like Tor or Telegram.

Maybe it sounds paranoid — and maybe it is — but to me, everything seems to line up.

If anyone here is planning to build a brand-new PC, I’d be really curious to hear what happens on their end.

Funny, I’m sure I read a conspiracy once that there’s some type of virus that can spread through your electrical wires into your pc, though not saying I believe it

I know this might sound like a conspiracy theory, but hear me out:
This issue has been around for years, and no one’s ever found a reliable, long-term fix.
Once it starts happening to you, it just keeps coming back — no matter if you change your PC, your OS, or even move to a different place.

That’s why I believe it’s not hardware-related, but somehow tied to the person.

If I had a new PC, I’d test it myself, but I’m not planning to buy one anytime soon.

Hopefully, someone else can try it out and share their results.

I bought a Steam Deck when it first released few years ago and decided to make a separate gmail and steam account to use it as a separate platform. I was waiting around 8 months for a Steam Deck to be delivered and during that time I also moved to a new apartment and the problem returned after a few days. Before i sold it i wanted to test it inside of a faraday cage and confirmed that this problem is something else- Not that i didn't know before that but i figured maybe i was just unlucky that moving 14 times didn't help.



I'm 95% sure this problem is some sort of anomaly that is caused by our own bodies or caused by something that hasn't been discovered yet. One thing is sure this problem will never be solved as long as low IQ people keep tweaking their BIOS, buying EMF/EMI snake oil stuff and moving cables in hope they solve it. Need someone with a brain that thinks outside of the box to solve this puzzle.

No it doesn't follow you for everyone. I had no such issues in first other place I tried.
I do not know how stats look like, but please do not pull off stats from your ass.

What kind of issues are even talking about in your case? If its input lag then its not some crazy anomaly its just steam deck pretty outdated hardware, its alright for single player titles
