How I fixed my desync (fake scaling)

I'm providing an example of the correct, true scaling setting on a BenQ XL2546 monitor. (Information taken from the official BenQ website).
My system is completely clean without any settings like CRU, regedit, bcdedit, etc.

The only way to see whether or not display scaling is in effect is done by checking active resolution in the monitor settings. Your settings still result in GPU scaling and as far as I know display scaled resolutions can only be added via CRU. You are either spreading misinformation on purpose or really believe this to be true just to believe something is good.
