adaptive gsync mean monitor without gsync module, but with freesync module (compatible gsync, with that need enable specific settings monitor on gsync page). ULL - ultra low latency (read desc. in nvcpl about it). Also, you can force vsync on in nvcpl + ULL + disable p-state, that is best combination.

"ULL" Ultra low latency mode. As far as Gsync/Vsync settings, you should try both off/on, in game, or off in game, on in control panel. I don't know if they're bugs or flukes.
I find playing in borderless fullscreen with async/vsync off works in single screen, using multiple screens you may want vsync back on. The tearing isn't to bad anymore and you seem to be able to use multiple resolutions and frequencies now.
As far as the networking goes I just went with Wifi 5ghz RSS off and it seems good. I have the Realtek NIC which just released new drivers but haven't went back in to deduce the issues were fixed. As far as I can tell just turn receive side scaling and offloads off seem to work fine. I think the RSS may even just add latency for online gaming. Something trivial in milliseconds to seconds of latency but crucial in fast paced FPS gaming.
Playing something like CoD/Warzone the hit reg is still awful. There's a clear difference when you play "Casual's" and are stacking up points and have dozens of kills vs regular mode and can't hit anything and hit reg is all choppy. So you get a distinct experience there seeing the difference in bots and online hitreg being completely awful.
Then the automation kills me. I love the games but the automation element is really destroying my mental health.

what is yours gpu / cpu initialization after / before enable vsync?gipzy666 wrote: ↑10 Nov 2025, 07:04I’ve been dealing with input lag and desync issues for years, and I strongly believe the main cause might be the lack of proper grounding in my home. I mainly play Valorant, and here’s what I’ve noticed:
When I enable VSync and uncap my FPS (on a 144Hz monitor), I get perfect hit registration and no desync at all. But when I turn off VSync, enemies start jittering or teleporting, and it feels like they can see me before I see them — as if my game is out of sync with theirs. This seems more like a frame synchronization problem rather than a pure network issue.
On top of that, I can’t spray properly with weapons like the Vandal or Phantom, because it feels like the recoil is lagging behind my movements — it’s just completely off. Interestingly, there was one time when I tweaked my transfer and receive buffer settings, and it actually gave me perfect hit registration and smooth, accurate sprays.
Of course, I can’t play with VSync on permanently because it introduces heavy input lag, and I’ve already tried Fast VSync, Ultra Low Latency Mode, and other similar settings — but none of them fix the issue. I still end up with desync and Ferrari-peeking enemies.
So what’s really going on here, and is there anything that i can possibly try to somewhat make it better?

THIS didn't work. But something strange happened while I was testing all sorts of display, gpu related settings.
I first started on this rabbit-hole by following this tutorial on r/valoranttechsupport, which purported that g-sync solved the OPs desync/hitreg issues; https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantTechSu ... esync_fix/
Which worked, but sporadically.
Then I decided to do some other things. By changing my res from the native 2560x1600 to 2560x1440, and turning my hz down to 120hz, from 240hz, I was able to pub-stomp pretty easily, and my spray control was amazing as well as my hitreg. I was hitting shots with good consistency and accuracy that was unbeknownst to me before.
Fast foward, obviously it stopped working upon restart, but unlike previous tweaks-I'm able to replicate it! Very inconsistently, mind you. But that is a good step.
There is something going on with the display settings, gpu settings, and g-sync or alternative technologies related to it.
