And you can't imagine, this causes 100Hz delta drops in mousetester. It's simply an incredible coincidence that's hard to believe.

if you affinity cores gpu and usb should be on same core.
kuobe lier, ecores cause mouse jitter.
why? wouldn't the interrupts from gpu make the mouse worse? thanks for more information

im thought same, but for some reason same core is better, i think it about how gpu driver interrupt usb driver.

thats metods to check have already been 10 years, idk why someone on this forum not know about it.
Surely, you must know the DPC Latency Checker doesn't work since Windows 7 :)
Hillarious to see this tool mentioned even in 2025.

Laymen will do everything except learning 1st party resources (ETW-based data, which can be explored with WPA/MXA)
And another stupid discussion about "correct" latency testing tools, I saw this trend in other threads as well killing the whole original discussion. This contributes nothing to my post topic. Please from now write only about your perceivable, easy tips to reduce input lag, whether they work for other people, doesn't matter. It is all system and game dependent anyway.

Gonna test it out but would be cool to hear if anyone knows why that is

I've asked this question before here, and I was told that the graphics card driver will always poll the usb.
Apparently, the latency on the same core is lower than on different ones (c2c latency affected??), in any case, I'll test it on 9700k and 9700x, but on my dead 13700k the difference was very obvious.

Definitely not for me on the 10850K. USB XHCI on Core 1, GPU and PCI to PCI Bridge above it on Core 5 (benchmarked), i-225V is set to SpreadAcrossAllCpus because ReceiveSideScaling is set in regedit.

Mouse and keyboard on different core from GPU:
Image
total duration: 5328

Same Core:
Image
total duration: 4909

With game open, moving the same walk for like a minute and moving mouse around the character.
The total duration for the DPC/IRC went down and the dxgkrnl.sys went down a lot but was it because of the computer restart? don't know.

Played a game with them on same core and it felt worse, pc felt more unresponsive in general so I switched back and now it feels better.
