This subforum is for advanced users only. This separate area is for niche or unexpected lag issues such as electromagnetic interference (EMI, EMF, electrical, radiofrequency, etc). Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

@ I moved the PC as far away as the power cable allowed and I have to say: the feeling is incredibly amazing now.
what that mean?

Yes! In case it doesn't work for you just return it, make sure to follow this setup: wall outlet->ups->pc, monitors etc...spkii wrote: β09 Dec 2025, 06:04Hey, how is it going? im gonna try with this: https://www.amazon.es/dp/B072LPKMN3/?co ... dp_it&th=1 U still going good?
Also make sure to enable the LINE mode by pressing the ON button 2 seconds, that's the mode that filters and converts the electricity.
I'm looking forward to hearing about your experience with it.

Re: Partially fixed input lag and floaty mouse | UPDATE
I think it had more to do with the UPS having enough room to cool and work properlly, however, I've been researching into this a lot more since the posting of the thread, and I have to say that your theory might not be so wrong as I initially thought.

Re: Partially fixed input lag and floaty mouse | UPDATE
yes, bro, because i think we all have the same issue. Ups can help us, but there not about only double conversion. If you gameplay still good, you can help us and dissambelly your ups, and photo components inside: input, output, main plate.
If your ups start work, after you move it, i think you move power cable, and that cable, change positions, and not affect anymore on signal cable. In that case, you walls may not emit, but your conductors start emit when u connect it to socet and after ups (im still think ups can help a little fix wire). If that electric field, you can get any detector electromagnetic field, like wt3120 or wt3121 and check field. After u get 0 point in your room, you can try place your setup, in that area. It may fix your issue.
