New AOC 25G4SXU IPS has better GTG response time at 240hz than XG2431 and it is cheaper.

Different testing methodology, they cannot be compared.
Every single IPS LCD you've seen on the market behaves 5-10% identical to the XG2431 with a RGB 5 Offset.

A reviewer of the AOC 25G4SXU monitor claims that red streaks are invisible in strobe mode. The monitor should have PFS because it has 117% SRGB coverage.

Update. extreme it is MBR+EXTREME OD.
I think the purple ghosting is visible. More at 120hz than at 240hz.
120hz MBR+ FASTER OD, MBR+ EXTREME OD

I bought its little brother the 25G4SRE, same panel but without the fancy shit, usb, ergonomics, etc.
After a lot of investigation and consideration I can safely claim this monitor is the current budget King for gaming, LCD's are on their way out, if you gonna buy a budget monitor, this one is the one to get, otherwise buy an OLED or the zowies for high level competitive gaming, but even the TN's are on their way out, I highly doubt ZOWIE will release another TN, the next one will likely be an OLED.
Quick review: IPS faster than regular fast ips, still not as fast as ultra fast ips, very responsive which allows for good precision in fps games, not perfect as oleds, but competitive.
One caveat, the 310hz OC is a pure scam, the monitor goes off after a while, this is not just mine, I've read it happens to others, so use it at 300hz.
If anyone has the CS25G, which is the "official CS2 monitor" which is basically the same monitor, same panel, please share the "CS" profile config numbers, thanks.
EDIT: After some testing, 310hz seems stable with OD fast, faster and fastest go off after a while.
