i have mouse\display lags (not smooth, choppy, like tearing and feeling low fps when i have high fps)
i change PC 3 times. first 8700k+ 1060ti 7y ago. second 5600x 5700xt. now i have 5800x3d 3080ti. all of it i have same problems. i tried different displays. ips\tn\oled\va . it not EMI. but may be electrical things. cuz when i get laptop, i plug in the same UPS with PC. i connect via hdmi my display in laptop and it work smoothly and perfect. displays works fine with laptop, with PC it looks like choppy hell. i don't know about desync. i don't play fps games like 4y cuz that. So... mouse and display work fine on laptop. i tried to equalize the potentials of PC cases and displays, after that it feels strange, feel lil bit better but still bad, can be placebo dunno. Online UPS doesn't help to me. I tried move my pc to another place. it looks fine. who has any idea? Due to the circumstances, I cannot move to another apartment. i hope anybody know something about that mystic problem. interesting thing: when the electricity was turned off in the whole house, everything was smooth through the ups. but if I just turn off the power to the apartment and try ups, then everything will be bad as before.
strange things.

This subforum is for advanced users only. This separate area is for niche or unexpected lag issues such as electromagnetic interference (EMI, EMF, electrical, radiofrequency, etc). Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.
