that's the wrong test. That one is worthless for showing strobe crosstalk/settling errors.

What you want to do is go to "moving photo" then change quebec to alien invasion, fullscreen and F11 (browser maximize), then you can get the proper results.

That isn't what we're asking for . We meant that first fullscreen test you did, but you must follow the UFOs with the camera, moving it from left to right, aligned with the UFOs, and the moment you have a clear image, take a photo (before you have to start from the left again).
A closeup of the center rows would be enough to detect overdrive artifacts. You don't need to take a photo of the entire screen if you aren't capable (I'm not, for example . My arms get tired, and I usually need more than 20 tries to get a pair of decent shots).

Pan your camera sideways (hand-panning works) while taking a picture.
Repeat taking pictures until the 'ladder' optical illusion is not distorted (bars vertical and not too skewed).

You can also enable the Pursuit Camera Grid on the http://www.testufo.com/photo test too as well. It does also work with hand-panned iPhones, as well as with precision pursuit cameras on rails.

Hi all, new to the forum. I just purchased a LG 24GM77-B. I haven't had a chance to play around with the Motion240 strobe settings or any other settings yet. I am debating whether to keep it and I thought I'd ask the experts here. I uploaded some pics of the monitor on a black screen at night. I was wondering if you think this is a lot of backlight bleed or if it's in an acceptable range for a gaming monitor of this type.
The pictures were taken with my android phone's camera and the effect is more pronounced in the photos than what I'm actually seeing but it does still seem like a lot of "light clouds" for lack of a better term.

Yeah. You might want to RMA that. Some of the Asus VG27H's and now, the ROG SWifts, have similar patterns of oval type shaped bleed or extreme bleed. A fully working monitor should be close to uniform with only very minor uneven patches.
