Hello,
I'm looking for help setting up (if it's even possible) what I would like to achieve.
Recently, I bought the Gigabyte M27Q3 at a good price, and I would like to keep it, but there is only one problem. I still own the BenQ 2411Z because I mainly play CS2 (1280x960 stretched), and I would like to keep playing that way. However, the M27Q3 is a 27-inch monitor, and it's too big for me for CS2. (would like to play soon other games in 1440P, that's why I want to keep it)
What I would like to achieve: a centered 24-inch-sized 1280x960 stretched image on the 27-inch monitor with the lowest possible input lag. I own an NVIDIA GPU.
The M27Q3 offers something like Tactical Switch 2.0, which works (by pressing a button, it changes from 27 inches to a centered 24-inch 1280x960 image with black bars on every side). BUT the game looks blurry, and it drives me crazy. I need the same result but with better image quality. There is also a display mode option in the monitor’s OSD where you can change it to 24 inches, but CS2 is not centered (although the image quality is better).
I would appreciate your replies.
Kind regards,
27 monitor to 24 stretched CS2

Re: 27 monitor to 24 stretched CS2
This is a total guess, so a grain of salt with my answer: Go to NVIDIA Control Panel > Adjust desktop size and position > Set scaling mode to Integer > Set resolution to 1080p > Change resolution in-game to 1280x960.

Re: 27 monitor to 24 stretched CS2
Native 1440p resolution in windows, I set mode to integer, chose 1920x1080, in game resolution 1280x960 = window is much smaller, it is like 16 inches.
