Which currently eliminates blur better? CRT Beam Simulator or the updated Pulsar 60hz Strobe?

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, ToastyX, black frame insertion (BFI), and now framerate-based motion blur reduction (framegen / LSS / etc).

Regarding the serious accusation. It seems more like an honest mistake. Their video editor only started pc gaming 2 years ago or so. He may not understand that aspect of monitors. I'd imagine Tim would check every video. He probably doesn't deeply check it. Each video is probably only making like 80 usd. So realistically how much time can he really spend on each video. I don't know if you've seen the comments on his videos. His viewership isn't going to have the skills to spot that either.
I hope that it is a mistake... because their reviews are good otherwise.
It would also help, if he'd include information on the TestUFO speeds and the camera settings he has used.
But I don't have my hopes up in regards to this, as he also refuses to show the sync track :(

Here are the videos in question, where I've noticed this pattern:
https://youtu.be/JranOxeRXHc?si=KF-kLHNyTvfiaAVr&t=870 (M27P6 review, after time stamp he shows the incorrect UFO for the MSI)
https://youtu.be/T4UJ-nT8L3I?si=La1cEkIZnyiKUlmb&t=614 (U27G4XM review, another example of incorrect UFO for the MSI specifically)
https://youtu.be/iW-HfmrFGZk?si=GswXZHXkAHuyKAiO&t=637 (274UPDF E16M review, actual 4K160Hz clarity of the MSI)

I also noticed this for a few OLED videos, where he (seemingly) played around with the TestUFO speeds to make the OLED display look clearer... but I didn't bother investigating it again.

This I agree with.
I wouldnt be suprised if the photos were just taken in different lighting conditions. Especially as older oleds capped out low in nits.
It is unfortunate but better to have lower quality info than no info at all. It is thanks to his pulsar review photos that I realized the 240hz and 360hz strobed to the same 1ms point back at launch day. Funnily he was saying 360hz looked clearer. Must've been that there was more frames than anything else.
I recall some videos. I thought he just didn't show anything at all. I wasn't aware they were incorrect strobed images.

If NVIDIA ever implemented this in a 4K monitor, I would buy it straight away. I genuinely think it’s currently the best way to play 60hz games if you care about motion clarity. There’s virtually no crosstalk, great brightness, and the image quality is as good as anything available right now — in some ways even better than my old FW900 CRT I used strictly for console use.
If any display is running at 60Hz, any best "thin" display can NEVER be better motion clarity than old Sony FW900. But any other CRT might be clearer motion clarity than Sony FW900.

Yeah, I agree the FW900 still wins in terms of pure motion clarity, and I do miss mine sometimes.

That said, the Pulsar looks good while avoiding a lot of the practical issues I had with the FW900:

Much sharper and cleaner image (no soft picture, higher reolution, no phosphor trails)
Significantly brighter with decent bright-room performance, I think FW900 only did ~100nits
No geometry or convergence problems
Full modern connectivity (no need for converters) I think FW900 was limited to 1080p for consoles.

For console use at 60 Hz, the Pulsar is honestly more enjoyable for me day-to-day, even if the FW900 wins in raw clarity.

Well. :) But if we want to play any console gaming@60Hz, any thin LCD monitor may get little crosstalk issue because any console gaming lacks custom resolution tool with QFT, unfortunately. To solve this issue, we back to any CRT monitor but not 1080p for incorrect positions/zoom but yes 1080i. ;)

I'm not sure what you mean but the Pulsar monitor has 0 crosstalk in its strobing mode at 60hz, the image is perfect.

Pulsar gets 0 crosstalk at 60Hz on... console gaming!?? If my ViewSonic XG2431 has 1ms GtG response time, this gets little crosstalk. because this response time isn't enough. But we get zero crosstalk at 60Hz on PC with CRU tool with QFT.

Yeah it’s 0 crosstalk/ghosting in 60hz on console and PC.

I play using a PS5 Pro and Switch 2.

Is your QFT default?

I tested 1680x1050@60Hz by default QFT on ViewSonic XG2431 but I get still crosstalk:
