my xl2411z turned up today, and as i have read up on the colours are quite washed out, the first thing i done was change to the native resolution 1920*1080 and use 144hz, so i was messing around with a few settings regarding colour also (in CCC and control panel, and the monitor panel) i also turned blue reduction ON as i've read good things about it.
i then logged onto facebook and i started noticing the video's, pictures, text even doesn't look how it should, i can only just about read most of the text
it seems like there's a really weird pixelated effect around most of the coloured things on my screen, almost like i've added a photoshop effect onto them.. i mean i haven't messed about with any settings that much, only changed to the native resolution (which things should be crisp clear on)
this is a picture of my facebook screen to kind of show you what i mean by 'weird pixelated effect' as you see the colours are almost outlined it's so weird. (picture was taken on my phone)

does the monitor just need time to adapt to some changes or? it just looks like the contrast has been put super high and things are blotchy, which i have not done atall
hopefully someone with a bit more experience can help, i'm new here and not very clued up, thank you very much
if you need any more information from me regarding anything let me know
