I think I solved this mysterious nightmare by accident!

Separate area for niche lag issues including unexpected causes and/or electromagnetic interference (ECC = retransmits = lag). Interference (EMI, EMF) of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction latencies like a bad modem connection. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI. Please read this before entering sub-forum.

I think I solved this mysterious nightmare by accident!

Post by Zwss98 » 30 May 2026, 22:07

@@@@ dear admins i know i posted this earlier in another forum but i want this to be known by people as much as possible . Otherwise , do what you see fit. @@@

This kinda going to be a long talk so bare with me
 So I was having input lag since i was on xbox 360 then xb one and now series s/x and now pc
And nothing changed and lag increased and sensitivity is changing in seconds . Not to mention blurry image and all sorts of bad performance, tried everything comes to the human mind and lost alot of money all went to dust
. I was thinking about trying new account because its only thing I haven’t tried but i was hesitant because its a silly idea and maybe costs , so instead i tried to make my account new by changing everything literally and removing any thing old stored in it including addresses & shipping. And when I applied these changes I immediately noticed my mouse became smoother? Won’t make it long on you its been 4 days it keeps getting better but very slowly and finally aiming feels how it should after missing out on gaming for years because of this shit . As final sentence i want to say fuck you micrsoft
Sorry for my English 🗿
I will be happy to answer any questions🫶

Where do you mean a new account? On Xbox? On Windows? Or in the search engine?I tried with a new Steam account and it was the same.

Random placebo, and who even use microsoft accounts in windows, simply use local offline login at the windows installation

No sir its not placebo , windows 11 forces Microsoft account , i’m very sensitive to input lag and sensitivity change because i lived my whole gaming career with this issues and i thought it was placebo as you just said at first.

This is gonna be a placebo effect. I tried playing on Linux too and the mouse was floaty there as well. Also, if a Microsoft account was the culprit, there'd be a ton of articles on it, but there aren't, so I'm pretty sure it's just placebo. You should do a before/after video first, though.

I understand its not a known issue and just random guy on internet talking about it so its nearly impossible to believe
But! I just wanted people who are like me did everything they could to get rid of this issue but it still there. To know about this method so maybe it wil be the thing that end the issue like it did with me . Thats all
