Question about VRR in Asus TUF gaming VG27AQL3a

Post by poiqpoiq » 07 Jun 2026, 21:13

So I have a question is there a diffrence between enabled VRR in monitor OSD but G sync disabled in nvidia control panel, and VRR disabled in OSD monitor (if vrr disabled so g sync disabled too), some input lag , OD settings or something?

The video mode can be different, yes. For example my display (XG27AQDMG) has a broken 180Hz mode that doubles frames when VRR is enabled in the OSD. It doesn't matter if g-sync is enabled in NVCP or not.

So, yes. There is a difference and the video mode timings can be different. Does it matter? I don't know.
