Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

NEW PC and MOUSE and ONLY using the PC late at night
Hello everyone. I have been doing a bit of thinking, and I THINK i may have come up with SOME sort of fix for this issue. I don’t know if this will work 100% but it’s worth a try.
What if you buy a new PSU, Motherboard, CPU AND a new mouse and then ONLY use the new equipment late at night… between 10PM, 11PM or 12 midnight all the way until like 5AM. AS SOON as the clock hits 5AM then you shut your PC down completely and not run ANY power on the PC for the entire day until the clock its 10PM-12AM again. Do you think this would fix the dirty electricity issue? Or at least to an extent?
I say this because i’ve heard a lot of people talking about how their PC and mouse feels trash during the day and only gets better at night, though this doesn’t happen to everyone… i also did some testing with a greenwave EMI meter, and during the day i get about 1400-1500mv of electrical noise while at night i get 100-200mv of noise. Do you think this weird issue could be fixed by getting a new PC and mouse or replacing everything that COULD affect the mouse including the mouse itself and then only using the PC and mouse late at night?

Maybe, who knows. Also those EMI meters values often don't correlate with symptoms, so it's not like your ultimate detector. It might be like that by accident in some cases, for instance if source of your problems also emits some interference this device can detect.
Ryzen 7950X3D / MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming X Trio / ASUS TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS / 2x16GB DDR5@6000 G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB / Dell Alienware AW3225QF / Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE / SkyPAD Glass 3.0 / Wooting 60HE / DT 700 PRO X || EMI Input lag issue survivor (source removed)

Re: NEW PC and MOUSE and ONLY using the PC late at night
Interesting. I watched some youtube videos of people using this Emi meter and most of them were getting between 100-400mv of noise. I then looked up people on this forum who have used this meter and found that most people who used the device on this forum were getting between 500-1000+ mv of noise. Mostly 1000+ mv of noise. What are your thoughts on that? Most houses have clean electricity but there are those FEW houses with electricity issues, so what do you think?

Lol idk yeah bro i hate to say it but nothing changed idk. I got a new motherboard, CPU, GPU, PSU and a new mouse and tested it at night with the greenwave filter. I got 64mv coming from the wall outlet with my PC on but this didn’t change anything at all. At this point i don’t think my issue is electricity anymore because i also tried ferrite cores and still nothing changed with the mouse input. My house has good grounding to everything is fine there. Everything on the PC quite literally works perfectly, it’s literally just the mouse thats bugging out and the keyboard to a SLIGHT extent. I think my issue is 100% software related cause i’ve ruled out hardware and electricity, these don't change mouse input in the slightest. I think i’m just gonna completely reinstall windows 11 on a usb offline and on a local account now because i think installing windows with a microsoft account on the internet is messing up the rendering of the mouse movement on the screen. I don’t know if its windows or if it’s something with how the microsoft cloud grabs your data causing some unknown glitch but i’m certain my issue is software related and either a windows 11 issue or a very unknown bug with my microsoft account.Slender wrote: ↑11 Jun 2026, 04:3220mv when pc on DOESNT fix issue.jterri wrote: ↑08 Jun 2026, 01:07

Greenwave emi meters values , ferrites and having good grounding does not rule out electricityjterri wrote: ↑12 Jun 2026, 11:26Lol idk yeah bro i hate to say it but nothing changed idk.
