Go into a shooting range, OSU, preferred shooting practice area etc.
Within nvidia control panel -> change resolution -> then instead of selecting the usual PC resolution, scroll down and select an option that works under Ultra HD, HD, SD.
For me, i have a 240 2k monitor, the top option under ultra HD, HD, SD is 1920x1080 120hz.
While in the shooting area toggle between the top PC resolution, shoot for a bit, and the HD, SD resolution, shoot for a bit.
I won't influence you by sharing my observations at the moment.
Thanks
Edit; I have a dual pc setup, and on the 2nd pc the monitor only operates at 60hz under ultra HD, HD, SD options. However, even though the desktop looks worse and the mouse looks/ feels worse there, how does it perform in fullscreen game is the important part.
