This is exactly what happens, bro: when I play on a Cybershoke DM Russlan server, where I have around 60 ms ping, the game feels much better like GREAT. I have full control over my movement and aim, the game feels stable, and everything feels consistent. (i can one tap everyone like its so ez)

But when I join Faceit, where I have around 24-28 ping, or any server with very low ping, the game becomes almost unplayable.

How is this possible? Why does the game feel smoother and more responsive on a higher-ping server, while low-ping servers feel terrible?
Why you don't play Cybershoke DM on Germany servers like you do on face it?
Did you know that both Cybershoke and Face it (hiperz) use pretty much the same server host? those servers are almost all hosted by "Hetzner" with a few exceptions.

The difference is that Cybershoke network devs really fucked up their servers because they don't even use the same rates and packets sizes as Valve Official Servers or other Community servers.

I am on a Reddit group with lots of power users who already noticed that and went way more in depth than me, we even tried to contact Cybershoke via their official website and they acted clueless (Classic).

Anyways... Game is broken, nothing much you can do; valve devs are making network tweaks every other update which changes how servers are sending / receiving packets from Clients, etc. Lately they have been playing with buffers in order to lower as much as possible load on the servers...

All those tweaks change how the game performs for us, how the hell you want to be consistent in a game where the CORE FUNCTIONALITY is consistently changing....

I have been saying this from the start CS2 is out since 3 years and all the players are still beta testers. Game is wayyy far from being polished.

Did you know that valve have access to network logs from all the players base? So much stuff that is unsaid and ignored by those so called "CS2 influencers" on social medias that have all trash content; they are just hungry for clicks to get the bag, while making you believe they care about the game.

Ye i played on german too, but on moscow location where i have 60 ms, my game feel so good, idk why but its fact, like i dont get insta HS, enemies dont do ferarri peeks, like i can tap people, on german server where i have 25ms its like unplayable, like different game -.-

Somehow, i missed your reply. Out of curiosity about what you described i tried playing on Moscow too (which i never do) and sure enough like you said, felt the same way, game is smoother and i feel like i am preshooting everyone with 47ms ping. Went back to Germany server with 12ms ping, and now it's the opposite (being literally lasered by ennemies can't even react)...

As i said previously "Cybershoke" are probably the worst community servers for CS2 because they don't use the same rates and packets sizes as Official Valve Servers. "Warmupserver" are not better. Closest i have found to the true packet rates and sizes is "PRACC" and even them it's not 1:1 like official servers. Also keep in mind that Cybershoke and Face it (hiperz) use the same server hosts (Hetzner) which are notoriously bad (and the cheapest ;) ) but their servers are not configured in the same way, Cybershoke use smaller packet sizes compared to Face it.

Kinda funny that Valve let community servers (including Face It) have their own network settings, rates, packet sizes instead of forcing them to use the same rates and packet sizes as Valve Official Servers... I mean it just doesn’t make any sense...
