Yeah ive enabled and disabled that before it doesnt do anything for meschandras wrote: β21 Aug 2026, 00:45Can you check if you have Realtek Audio Service enabled in the start up apps? You can also check by bringing up realtek audio console and see if the app starts up. I think you must keep this enabled while you try out new things. I believe a part of the ghost lives here in the audio subsystem.

Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

Re: So moving did fix it
Just an update for people who still think this problem is EMI/EMF/Power related. I stopped caring about this problem long time ago and especially talking to new users who want to cope and be delusional instead of trusting users like me who had this problem since 2009 and were first to report it in 2012-2013. Anyways... just wanted to leave my yearly update in case anyone cares. I rarely visit these forums.. maybe few times a year now because i forget i have this problem lol i don't care about games now.
For the first time ever i bought my own brand new apartment constructed in 2026 that was few months ago and officially 17th place in a row where i have this problem
Not that i was hoping it would solve this problem i had EXACTLY ZERO hope moving will solve it and i didn't move because of this problem. I knew that this was caused by something else by the time i moved for the third time and that was like 10 years ago.
So here is some advice for people who are dealing with this problem. Anyone who claims they solved this problem by moving or purchasing *insert random /device/product* is either:
- Lying to you and trying to sell you something
- Coping
- Lying in order to convince YOU to buy something they can't afford to test
- Relatively new users who haven't done their research and claim this problem is something that has already been tested before
- People like OP who were too excited and claimed they solved it but the issue eventually came back. You will find this happens all the time when dealing with this problem because people are impatient and have no trouble spreading misinformation.
- People who though they solved this problem but the problem eventually came back but they STILL refused to admit the problem came back and live in delusion. You will find people like this will refuse to provide their amazing new stats on FACEIT or any other tracker/game because they still suck at video games. If you solved this problem your K/D/A would jump from one of the worst to one of the best players in whatever game you are playing. In short: The difference would be massive and proof would be easy to provide.
I'm not claiming this problem is caused by our bodies but that is the only thing that stayed the same after all these years of moving around the world and changing different devices. What i will say is this is 100% an anomaly and not related to anything we know about.

The problem is that many people don't actually know what issue they're dealing with. Everyone eventually finds the Blur Busters forum and starts posting about their particular problem, but hardly anyone does any deeper research into it.
This issue is extremely difficult to define and isolate accurately. I could list all the possible causes, but there would be little point. There has been no definitive solution for more than 10 years, and I don't think many people are willing to spend tens of thousands of dollars or euros just to make the problem disappear only to find out afterward that it wasn't even the real cause.

You don't have any problems outside shooting games = some kind of rare undiagnosed internet problem causing desync to the server. You have exactly the same problem in desktop, web browsing, bios etc. as well = power problem, now keep on blaming mysterious paranormal causes and you will not fix this for another 15 years.MaleGigolo wrote: β23 Aug 2026, 21:27Just an update for people who still think this problem is EMI/EMF/Power related. That's the most stupid thing ever read on this forum, having a good conditions to play will NOT turn you into an upper 0,1% pro players fucking lmao, there are many people who would have exactly the same performance no matter how good their PC would perform because this is just their skill ceiling, its like saying that if your sneakers won't be holding back your performance you would be playing for Lakers, but now you are stuck at amateur basketball because your shoes have "lag".

Re: So moving did fix it
His statement is statistically accurate.
Simply put, playing for extended periods with this issue will improve significantly. When the problem is present, I can kill some enemies, but not always. However, when it disappears at night, I'm consistently ranked first with a high kill count because killing seems incredibly easy. Let me tell you something: until 2016, my sniper stats in Battlefield 4 were second in the world. After that, I received several reports and was banned. Later, I encountered input lag issues, and to this day, I can't play with the sniper rifle like I did before 2016.
Even in PUBG, I used to wipe out entire squads without any problems, but now I can't. But anyone who claims the problem stems from our bodies is mistaken. Simply put, my games improve at night. I remember a period of four days where the problem disappeared, then returned. Anything I change in the electrical system makes the problem disappear briefly, then reappear. There is a solution, but we haven't found one because everyone who tries to solve the problem disappears from this forum. The only solution I've seen is to create a petition on Reddit where everyone experiencing this issue can vote. I think there's some invention that might solve this problem.
By the way, many people are now talking about this issue. Before, they thought their performance was poor, but now they've noticed something is wrong. Sorry for the English; I used Google Translate.

And now connect the dots - why does it work perfectly at night, like for me and many others? Yeah guess what, the electricty is much cleaner at night because the usage of solar panels, switching power supplies, AC units, all kind of inverter motors, LED lights and all kind of other crap that inject noise are turned off.unexpected8 wrote: β24 Aug 2026, 04:05

I guess the only things left to try are a different part of the UK with different main substations/transformers in a cheap area where people wont have solar panels and EVs. Then if not that I guess a lithium battery, literally nothing left to try after that

This is indeed a power issue BUT it is combined with the windows install and some other factors. It is certainly not one thing only.
Also, what I rarely see anyone say here is that "the problem" has different levels of severity. It's not like if you have it 100% or not at all. This makes it especially hard to diagnose.
And to that other guy who replied to you, yes someone who isn't affected at all and has even a tiny bit of game sense will simply destroy everyone. This is coming from me who also got banned from every server back then. Even when playing on my bed using a magazine for mouse pad LOL. Those who never experienced this godlike gameplay shouldn't talk. It's not about skill, never was.
A lot of kids here muddying the waters with their impatient posts and no experience. Watch out.

Re: So moving did fix it
Had my PC upstairs now for 6 hours away from my router which is downstairs, I was playing downstairs before. Disconnected ethernet cable and been on usb wifi today and its all good. I recall using my phone internet for a while when i moved in which might explain why it was good then until I had regular internet connected. Desktop mouse movement and clicking feels better, AK is spraying at full speed, and im seeing the grey ploom of smoke out of enemies guns for the first time in cs2, which suggests graphics are now being rendered properly. Another thing, wiggling cables and turning lights on and off etc does nothing now, which suggests stability. Could be radiated emi in my case downstairs. Obviously if it goes bad again ill say here
